Bueno, pues, contra todo pronóstico, he podido hacer el baile para
esta semana…
Hell-Oh!
Unexpectedly, I got the dance ready for this week...
En realidad,
comencé a aprenderlo a principios de agosto, pero tuve que parar
para hacer la colaboración, y luego me puse enferma y no pude
continuar (aunque ya me lo sabía, sólo me quedaba practicar un
poco). Me costó más de lo habitual porque es un baile muy movido y
hacía mucha calor; todo eso combinado es el mal. En fin, la cuestión
es que no he podido exagerar algunos movimientos (saltos, por lo
general), para no reventarme (tanto física como de resistencia),
pero creo que ha quedado aceptable. Os dejo aquí el link a mi
anterior post, donde explico lo que me pasó, que no quiero repetirlo
otra vez.
So, I started learning it on early
August, but I had to stop to prepare the collab. And, then, I got ill
and I couldn’t do anything for more than a week (although I already
knew the dance, I just needed to practice a bit more). It was a bit
hard learning this dance because it’s very active and the weather
was scorching hot. These two things combined are evil. Well, so,
finally I wasn’t able to jump as high as I would’ve liked because
of everything that happened, but I think it’s ok. Here, I’ll put
the link to my last post, where I talk more about illness, because I
don’t feel like talking about it again...
La verdad es que, de todos los bailes
de iMarine, este era de los que menos me llamaban la atención (que
me gustan mucho todos, así que no es necesariamente malo ser el
último en ese puesto), pero la idea de hacerlo antes que otros nació
a raíz del conjunto. Hace bastante, compré por internet un vestido
que resultó ser un poco chasco, pero el estampado de la tela de la
falda era bonito, así que no quería darlo por perdido, y quise
usarlo para hacer algún traje. Es aguamarina con lunares blancos,
que recuerda a burbujas en el agua, y quedaba muy pop, así que era
con la canción que mejor quedaba. Estuve dándole vueltas al diseño
(que durante mucho tiempo no acababa de convencerme), y al final
llegué a esta idea, porque también tenía ganas de utilizar tela de
escamas ^^ He utilizado muchos pomponcitos (blancos y aguamarina)
para emular burbujas. El peinado es por lo mismo :3 Y en la espalda
hice la forma de cola de pez con la “capa”
To be honest, from all the iMarine
dances, this is the one I like the least (but I love all of them, so,
even if it’s the last on the list, it’s not bad), but I made it
before others I prefer because of the outfit. Long ago, I bought a
dress on an online store. The print from the skirt was cute, but it
didn’t look nice as a dress, when it arrived. I decided I didn’t
want to throw it, I wanted to use the fabric, at least. It’s teal
with white polka dots. It looked like bubbles in water and it looks
pop, so, this was the song it was better for.
I thought about the design for a long
time, there was something I didn’t like about it and I didn’t
knew what to do about it. But, I finally came up with this idea,
since I also wanted to use scales fabric on something ^^ I put a lot
of tiny pompoms (teal and white) as if they were bubbles. The hairdo
it’s because of the bubbles, too :3 And I made a fish tail shape in
the back with the transparent fabric.
Para el escenario y las ediciones de
vídeo, quise emular que estaba en el fondo del mar. Pompones,
lámparas de papel, burbujas (aunque casi no se ven, tanto reales
como de edición). Luces varias (edición y reales). Diferentes telas
para simular corrientes marinas, etc. Me gustó mucho cómo quedó,
aunque me costó más de lo que creía, prepararlo, y en vídeo, la
vida se la han dado los filtros, porque siempre queda muy oscuro y
opaco, el azul de las cortinas u_u
A parte de las burbujas, coloqué un
ventilador, para que se movieran las “olas” y para no morirme de
calor bailando. Al final, también decidí comprarme maquillaje
waterproof. No hubiera aguantado ni una ronda bailando sin que se
deshiciera el maquillaje… Que, por cierto, logré grabarlo
relativamente rápido, pero ya estaba al límite de mi resistencia,
la verdad ^^U Tengo ganas de recuperarme del todo, la verdad…
For the stage and the video editions,
I wanted an underwater look. Pompoms, paper balls, bubbles (although
they aren’t very noticeable). Lights, fabrics (for waves and all),
etc. I really liked how it looked, but it took too long to prepare.
And the edition has made the difference, since the blue curtains
always look too dark on camera u_u
I put a bubble machine, and I also put
a fan so it’d be fresh and the “waves” could move. And, I
decided buying some waterproof make-up. It wouldn’t have lasted a
complete dance without melting… By the way, I was able to record it
quite fast, but I was at my stamina limit, by then ^^U I want to
recover soon...
En fin, espero que os guste! Ha sido
un poco accidentado, pero estoy satisfecha, porque era bastante reto
para mí, porque los pasos son rápidos y muy seguidos entre sí,
pero ha quedado bonito incluso con todo lo que ha pasado…

Anyway, I hope you like it! It’s
been a bit troublesome, but I’m happy with the result, because this
dance was challenging for me. The steps are fast and without pause.
But I think it looks nice despite all that happened…
