COSPLAY: Snow Halation - Kousaka Honoka (Love Live)

Hell-Oh! Feliz Navidad!!!!!! No pensaba que tendría tiempo para hacer ningún cosplay de navidad este año, pero, sí!!! Es el Snow Halation de Kousaka Honoka (Love Live).

Hell-Oh! Merry X’mas!!!!! I was embracing the idea of not having a winter/christmas cosplay this year because I’m busy, but I did one xD !!! It’s Kousaka Honoka’s Snow Halation (Love Live).

Hablando de cosplays de navidades o de invierno, de hecho tengo material para otro traje y un par más en la wishlist, pero estoy ocupada, así que pensé que este año no podría ser, pero… me di cuenta de que tenía casi todo el material para este, me emocioné, y… lo hice en una semana :_D (dejando de lado otras cosas que tenía que hacer :_D ajajajaa lloro)

Talking about those cosplays, in fact I had material for one and others in the wishlist, but I’m busy so I thought I wouldn’t be able to make one this year, but… I realised that I had almost all the materials for this one. I got excited and I made it. In a week. Leaving aside the other things I had to do. cries in spanish

Estuve decidiendome entre Honoka y mis dos favoritas de la temporada (que Honoka no era), pero, como ya sabréis, estuve en un grupal (muy fugazmente) y Honoka era el único personaje restante y pues lo acepté. Qué pasa? que de este tengo peluca, es más económico, y ya tengo cosplays hechos de ella, y quitando caprichos puntuales, soy muy de seguir con el mismo personaje siempre. Además, tras probar su cosplay, le cogí cariño. No es el tipo de caracter en el que me suelo fijar, porque son muy extrovertidos (cosa que yo no) y muy alegres siempre (yo soy más grumpy xD), pero definitivamente cuando se me quita la timidez soy así también xD Así que buenop. Y nunca había usado peluca pelinaranja, y me gusta xD
I had to decide between Honoka and my 2 faves from the season (wich Honoka wasn't), but, as you may know, I've been in a LL groupal (fleetingly) and Honoka was the only character left, and I accepted bc I wanted to join and have fun. And, now? I already have the wig, it's inexpensive compared to the other ones. I already have some cosplays of her and, excluding any outfit I like better on other character, I like to stick on the same character. Besides, after cosplaying her, I got attached to her, and I also like how I look with orange hair xD She's not the kind of character I use to look at or get attached to, because I'm more shy and grumpy than them, but I'm also like that (not at first sight, though), too, so it's ok xD

En fin, para este cosplay yo he usado: peluca y lentillas para Honoka, telas blancas (peluda, polar, estilo gasa y una normal), cosas blancas (guantes, botas, rosa, camisa, puntilla, plumas), cinturón marrón, abalorios varios, bies rosa pastel, cinta rosa oscuro, botones dorados, varios botones de clip y una corbata rosa (intermedio entre los otros dos). Tinte azul.

Well, for this cosplay I needed: Honoka’s wig&lenses, white fabrics (polar, fluffy, chiffon-like and a basic one), more white stuff (boots, shirt, gloves, rose, feathers, lace), brown belt, golden buttons, more buttons, pink stuff (pastel bias, medium necktie, dark ribbon), blue dye, random beads.

CAMISA: Pues tenía por aquí una camisa que no uso ya, porque tiene varias cosas de estar usada que para vestir no me gusta, pero para el cosplay iba bien, así que le corté las mangas, le arreglé el ancho y le añadí unos botones.

Le cosí en el cuello las crucecitas rosas con una cinta semitransparente, ya que pensé que quedaría más bonito.

Teñí de azul la puntilla, porque puntillas bonitas que no sean blancas, negras o beige es imposible, es más fácil teñirlas.

También teñí retales de tela como la de la falda, para los piquitos de los hombros. Tenía duda de si coserlo en la camisa o en el chaleco, pero al final lo puse en la camisa, porque me da más miedo que se manche el chaleco que la camisa (en el remoto caso que el tinte manche, que no debería ser el caso pero me aseguro). Bueno, pues cosí los picos, le puse una entretela para que se quedasen tiesos y le cosí abalorios :3 Y ya.

SHIRT: I had a shirt around here that I don’t think it looked good to wear, but it was ok for cosplay (so glad about my diogenes), so I cut out the sleeves, fixed the armhole and added some buttons.

I sewed the dark pink ribbon on the neck. I used a semitransparent one bc I thought it would look more fancy.

I dyed the lace blue, because it’s impossible (at least here) to find beautiful lace in other colous than white, black or beige. And I sewed it on the shirt.

I also dyed some fabric from the skirt leftovers, for the “spikes” on the shoulders. I doubted sewing it on the shirt or the vest, but I sewed it on the shirt because if the shirt gets blue stains I wouldn’t mind, but I don’t want the vest to get stained :_D (not that the dye’s going to stain stuff, but better be careful). Well, the I sewed the spikes, I added backing and I sewed on the beads :3 That’s all.

CHALECO: Son retales de la tela que me sobró del Snowflake Lilliput xD Más una tela normal que usé de forro (la típica tela de forro da sensación demasiado fría para un cosplay de invierno :/ Además, esta ya la tenía). Hice los patrones, corté las telas, lo cosí todo, añadí la tela peludita en los bordes, puse el cuello y los botones. Y casi me olvidé de los bordes en los brazos, que añadí al final xD

VEST: The polar fabric I used is from Snowflake Lilliput’s leftovers xD (again, diogenes ♥) and a random fabric I had around here for the lining. I made the patterns, cut the fabric, sewed it all, added the fluffy fabric to the edges, added the neck and the buttons. Then I almost forgot the fluffy fabric on the armholes and I added it later xD

FALDA: Corté dos capas de falda circular, las uní y a la de abajo le puse una cremallera. Para la 3ª capa, arriba, hice el patrón según es el diseño, pero acabé modificándolo porque quedaba raro tal cual.

Les cosí el bies y la puntilla teñida a las capas correspondientes.

Para la cinturilla, la 3ª capa solo se abre delante, pero no iba a poner la apertura de las dos capas largas de la falda en el centro, delante ._. Así que cosí la cinturilla a esta 3ª capa, con un botón de cierre en el centro, pero de las dos capas inferiores solo cosí 3/4s de la falda (abierto del centro a la cremallera) para poder abrir la falda y ponérmela, con varios botones de clip a la cinturilla para que se mantuviera en el sitio.

SKIRT: I cut 2 circle skirt pieces, I joined them and I put a zipper on the down one. For the upper piece, I made a pattern, but I ended fixing it bc it looked weird.

I sewed the bias and the dyed lace.

So, this 3^rd skirt piece opens up in the middle, and the others on one side (not going to open the skirt on the front, thanks), so I sewed the waistband to this 3^rd layer, with an open-close button there on the middle. I only sewed ¾ parts from the 2 other layers to the waistband, so I could open up the skirt from the middle to the zipper. I put some buttons to join this ¼ to the waistband.

GUANTES: Primero estuve buscando el 2º guante que me sobró del Snowflake, pero no lo encontré, y de todos modos me venía enorme, así que me compré otro par, que era elástico, así que mejor para mi. xD Le cosí el borde peludito y ya.
*Más tarde me di cuenta de que los guantes llevaban unos pomponcitos, porque en la carta o no los lleva o no se le ven :/ Los añadí, pero esta foto se queda aquí xD

GLOVES: First I wanted to find the 2^nd glove I didn’t use from the Snowflake, but I couldn’ find it. So I bought a new pair, which wasn’t that bad, because this new gloves are elastic and fit better that the other pair. I sewed the fluffy fabric on the edges and that’s all.
*Later,  I realized that the gloves have 2 tiny pompoms, because in the card they're either not there or hidden :/ So I added them, but I don't change the photo xD

BOTAS: Bueno, pues las botas blancas de siempre, esta vez sin forro. Y estoy reutilizando la pieza peludita del Snow Strawberry de Iori xD Soy consciente de que la pieza en este cosplay es más fina, pero tampoco le estoy poniendo las piezas doradas a la bota, y por lo general la gente ni siquiera usa botas para este cosplay, así que me da IGUAL xD AHORRO!

BOOTS: I’m using the same white boots I use in many cosplays, not covering it. And I’m using the furry piece from Iori’s Snow Strawberrycosplay. I realize that this fluffy part should be thinner, but I’m already not putting the golden parts on the boots, and for this cosplay many people doesn’t even wear boots, so who cares xD SAVINGS

CINTURÓN: No foto. Es un cinturón que ya tenía por aquí xD

BELT: Without pic. It’s a belt I had around here xD

CORBATA: Iba a comprar una tela para esto, pero encontré una corbata de un color aceptable, la corté, remodelé e hice esta corbata y me sobró para el lazo para la cabeza. Le cosí de la misma cinta que la del cuello de la camisa y au.

NECKTIE: I was going to buy a fabric for this, but I found a colour-fitting necktie and I decided to use that. I cut it appart, fixed the shape and I made this necktie and the head’s ribbon out of it. I sewed the pink ribbon and it’s complete.

ACCESORIO CABEZA: Tenía una rosa sobrante de un ramillete que compré para el Rosenburg Engel de Ranko, así que usé esa :3 También tenía plumas sobrantes de ese mismo cosplay, y el lazo de los restos de la corbata del punto anterior. Teñí las dos plumas peluditas y lo junté todo. Le añadí algunos detallitos de mi cosecha como la cadenita de perlas, las florecitas de abalorio o los reflejos de pintura nacarada ♥

HEAD ACCESSORY: I had one white rose left from Ranko’s Rosenburg Engel, so I used it :3 I also had white feathers left from that cosplay, and the ribbon from the necktie scraps. I dyed some of the feathers and joined all the pieces together. I added some details because I wanted ♥

En fin, esto es todo. La verdad, ha sido un cosplay bastante sencillo, rápido, barato y muy cómodo xD Me recuerda a algunos modelitos de hello project xD Cuando me lo probé no pude contener tararear momoiro kataomoi xD

Bueno, lo de siempre, añadiré fotos cuando pueda tener una sesión, y también el baile xD

Well, so that’s all. This has been a really simple, fast, inexpensive and comfortable cosplay :3 It reminds me of some hello project outfits xD When I tried it on completed, I couldn’t help myself humming momoiro kataomoi xD

And, then, like always. I’ll add the pics when I get a photoshoot and also the dance xD

Edit: I also dance it with Angelical Ume Cosplay with Kotori costume (made by Bah no Mahou), I leave this video below, too ^^ I hope you like it!!

☺ Día de los inocentes ☺

Hell-Oh! Hoy es el día de los inocentes!!!

Bueno, pues no es una broma... peeeeero... Os traigo un vídeo entero de tomas falsas xD

No sé si lo sabréis, pero soy horrible al grabar los bailes. Me toma muchísimos intentos, porque practicando me sale del tirón, a la primera, con energía y buena posición. Pero, no sé lo que tiene, de verdad :_D que es ponerme en la situación de grabar, con el conjunto/cosplay, la cámara y el escenario, que no sé qué pasa, me pongo nerviosa, me quedo en blanco demasiado y eso se transforma en frustración, y se hace la pescadilla que se muerde la cola, y de verdad que no sé cómo logro grabar los vídeos al final xD Sobretodo los que grabo en exteriores, lo paso fatal con los mirones o la tension de que no aparezca nadie :_D

En fin, por lo general acabo borrando tomas porque grabar en HD con mi cámara le llena la memoria en seguida (y sólo graba de 8 en 8 min ._.), y al editar el baile no quiero alargarlo tampoco demasiado, así que últimamente había pasado de añadir las tomas falsas, pero en el baile Winter Happy Night no borré ninguna toma, y hay como 5 min de tomas falsas, así que lo he editado en un vídeo y eso es lo que os traigo hoy xD

Apreciad mis caras de ╰POR QUÉ ERES ASÍ?╮ xDDD Decidí hacer este vídeo porque es un cachondeo xD

Hell-Oh! Today's the Day of the Innocents. I don't know how's it in english, I searched on the Internet and I read "Childernas Day". but not quite sure about what it means. Anyway, here in Spain, this day's like your April Fool's Day. People set pranks on others and all that stuff.

ANYWAY! This is not a prank or a joke, but it's funny xD I bring you a bloopers video of my Winter Happy Night dance cover.

You see, when I record I need many takes, it's terrible D: When I'm practicing I make it in 1 attempt, 1st attempt, with energy and good position. BUT, when I'm in the "recording"mode: outfit/cosplay, stage/street, camera set, etc, I don't know what happens, but I get so nervous, my mind goes blank and I start making mistakes, forgetting everything and doubting about the steps I'm doing. Then, I get frustrated bc I can't do it and it's taking a lot of time, and it's like a vicious circle. I don't have any idea about how I can finally get to record xD And in the street it's worse bc there's people watching x_D

I end up erasing many of those takes because the files in HD are heavy and they fill my camera's memory so fast (and I can only record in 8 minute lapses). And I don't usually put bloopers on the final videos bc I don't want to make them too long. But, these bloopers are golden and I thought you might enjoy my ╰WHY ARE YOU LIKE THAT?╮ faces xDD

Well, I don't know if you celebrate this day, but I hope you don't get bad pranks on you xD

DANCE: Snow Halation ❄

Hell-Oh! Hoy os traigo el baile Snow Halation, de Love Live. Aunque ya lo habréis supuesto porque hice ese cosplay xD

Hell-Oh! Today I bring you my dance cover of Snow Halation (Love Live). You may already guessed it by seeing I made that cosplay xD

Bueno, pues este es el motivo por el cual hice el cosplay de Honoka. Cuando estuve mirando posibles bailes navideños o invernales, este era uno de los que me venía a la mente, pero me dolía internamente no bailarlo con cosplay… Así que, vi que tenía casi todo el material y que podía hacerlo rápido, y destruí mi calendario por esto. :D ajá~

Well, this is why I made Honoka's cosplay. When I was searching for potential winter dances, this was one of the ones that came to my mind, but it bugged me the idea of dancing it without its cosplay D: So, I checked that I had almost all the material and that it was easy and fast to do, and I destroyed all my schedule because of this. :D aha~

Como lo he bailado sola, he modificado un paso al final, para que no quedase raro, y he añadido un par de cosas para que no quedase muy vacío en algunas partes.

Because I’m dancing alone, I modified a step near the end to look better, and I added a pair of things so some parts don’t look empty.

Debo decir que es un baile bastante sencillo, y me alegro, porque pude arreglar mi calendario xD

I must say that this is an easy dance, and I’m glad, because I was able to fix my schedule xD

DANCE: Winter Happy Night ❄

Hell-Oh! Bueno, pues hoy toca baile navideño/invernal! Quiero hacer unas semanas temáticas, aunque casi no lo consigo, se me desmontó todo el calendario xD

Hell-Oh! I bring you a Christmas/winter dance! I want to make Christmas and winter-like dances this weeks, I made a schedule but I messed it all up and I barely made it on time x_D

En fin, hoy toca… Winter Happy Night! No he podido grabar de noche, porque si ya de día mi cámara se las trae, de noche ni te cuento xD Y, nieve??? Aquí??? JA JA JA JA Por eso le he añadido efectos x’’D

Whatever. Today’s… Winter Happy Night! I couldn’t record at night because my camera sucks, and, snow??? Here???? HA HA HA HA So, I added snow effects :D

Nunca había bailado TAN tapada; hace fresco, pero me estaba agobiando con la bufanda :_D Pero la bufanda era obligatoria por cosas de la letra…

I had never danced with so many layers of clothes. The weather’s cool, but I was getting annoyed by the scarf :_D But, the scarf is a must for this dance…

En el tema baile… bueno, a priori parece una coreografía sencilla, y no es que no lo sea, pero es un poco caótica, y eso no me ha gustado mucho :_D Sobretodo porque eso entra en conjunción con mis maravillosos nervios que la lían mezclando pasos y PUM chocapik. En fin, al final igual lo grabé y está bonito :3

About the choreography… well… at first it looks easy, and it is, but it is chaotic, and I didn’t like that :_D If we mix that chaos with my nerves, we bake death and doom. Anyway, I could record it and I think it’s fine :3

Pensaba grabar este baile en un lugar. Luego cambié de planes. Y al final no lo he grabado en ninguno de los dos sitios xD Aunque pretendo grabar alguno en esos sitios, pero quién sabe xD
Grabé en un parque de Valencia (otra vez), que se llama Los Jardines del Real, y hace tiempo era un zoo. Pues bien, el sitio en sí no está mal, pero :/ había tipos en bici dando vueltas, vendiendo droga ._. Así que no me hace ilusión volver a grabar por la zona... Además es un parque más concurrido, por lo que pasaba mucha gente, que se me quedaba mirando descaradamente, y eso a mi me desconcentra la vida, por si no me desconcentrase ya yo sola...

I wanted to record this dance in 1 place, then I changed my mind and I was going to record it in another place. Finally, I recorded it in a completely different place xD I plan to record on both places sometime, though. But, who knows xD
I recorded in Los Jardines del Real, in Valencia. It's a park that was a zoo years ago. The place is beautiful, but there're drug dealers around, and I don't like that ._. Also, this place is crowded; there were loads of peepers watching me, and that makes me really uncomfortable, as if I don't get enough nervous by myself already. So, I'm not sure of recording there again :/

Y quiero agradecer a Breakman por ayudarme con la grabación, porque me avisa si la cámara graba o no, si me salgo de la pantalla, si está grabando mal, se ocupa del audio, ahuyenta transeuntes cotillas y, sobretodo, me tranquiliza cuando me estoy frustrando, que pasa demasiado a menudo xD

And I want to thank Breakman for helping me with the recording, because he keeps an eye that the camera’s ok, that I’m on the screen, plays the music, drives away lurkers and, especially, eases me when I’m frustrated, which happens too often xD

Hell-Oh! El vídeo de esta semana no es de baile ^^ Es un vídeo de cómo monto un gunpla xD Adoro los puchis ♥ los colecciono :3

Desde el principio, decidí que quería hacer mi canal no solo de canciones y bailes, aunque era casi solo lo que hacía. Y bueno, quería enseñaros una de mis aficiones no tan conocidas, y es montar gunplas :3

Since the beginning, I decided that my channel was going to be not only dance+sing, though it was my main activity. Well, so I wanted to show you one of my hobbies, and that is building gunplas :3

Es mi primer gunpla cromado, pero creo que estuvo aceptable xD

Como tengo tripode, pude grabarme mejor que cuando hice el kit de chucherías, pero a veces me salía de la cámara :_D Intentaré solucionar eso… Aunque bueno, como es una tarea tan repetitiva y no quiero hacer los vídeos demasiado largos, corto escenas igualmente…

It is my first chromed gunpla, but I think it came out fine xD

I recorded it with the tripod, so it’s better than the cooking kit, but I get out the camera sometimes :_D I’ll try to fix that… But, building a gunpla is repetitive and I don’t want to make the videos too long, so I cut scenes anyway…

En fin, no sé si todos conocéis los gunplas o si los montáis, así que decidí subtitularlo con los pasos a seguir y algunos trucos :3

I don’t know if you know about gunpla or if you build gunpla, so I decided to put subtitles on the steps to follow and some tips :3

DANCE- Kanzaki Ranko's -LEGNE-

Hell-Oh! El vídeo de esta semana es -LEGNE- Adanasu Tsurugi Hikari no Shirabe, de Kanzaki Ranko (The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls). Quiere decir algo así como -Ángel- Espada vengadora: Melodía de luz (sí) XD

Hell-Oh! This week’s video is -LEGNE- Adanasu Tsurugi Hikari no Shirabe, of Kanzaki Ranko (The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls). It means -Angel- Vengeful Sword: Melody of Light (yep) xD

Bueno, pues este es el traje imagen de esa canción, tanto en el anime como en el CD, aunque no he llegado a verlo en el juego. Y pasa algo parecido que con el anterior baile de Ranko (Yumemiru Raphsodia ….), y es que excepto en OFA, en el resto de juegos, lo baila sin vara, por lo que hay ciertas diferencias entre ambos. Lo que quiero decir es que, no tengo del todo claro cómo será este baile con vara al 100%, simplemente he hecho el único que hay, y he tratado de imaginar qué hacía con la vara, según lo que hace con las manos.

Well, so this is the outfit image for the song, both in the anime and the CD cover; I haven’t seen it in the game, though. And it happens the same thing as for the other Ranko dance (Yumemiru Raphsodia…), and that is, except for the OFA game, in the other games I’ve only seen it danced without wands, and I know there are some differences between wand/not wand of the same dance. So, what I mean is that I’m not 100% sure about how’s this dance with the wand, because I’ve only seen it without it. I just made up what I thought she was doing with it, by her movements, and that’s all.

Este baile no es muy complicado, es corto y no es muy movido, pero hace muchos gestos con las manos, y eso al principio me dio algo de miedo xD Pensaba que me iba a costar más de aprender, ya que el anterior baile de Ranko se me atascó muchísimo… pero bueno, estoy contenta ^^

Well, so this dance is not difficult, it’s short and it isn’t energetic, but it has many hand gestures, so it scared me at first xD I though it would take me more time to learn, since I got stuck with last Ranko’s dance… anyway, I’m happy ^^

Me gustó el primer plano del anterior baile de Ranko, así que he querido repetir ^^ Esta vez desde varios ángulos y en más sitios, como en el videoclip :3 Me gustaría también mover la cámara, como en el videoclip, pero este lo he grabado sola, así que no ha podido ser… Y como en el videoclip había pétalos de rosa y plumas, decidí ponerlo en el suelo, aunque no sé si se nota mucho lo que es x_D

I liked the close-up on the other Ranko dance, so I wanted to repeat it ^^ This time, like in the original, I tried more angles :3 I’d like to move the camera like in the videoclip, but I recorded it by myself, so I couldn’t. And, since in the videoclip there were rose petals and feathers, I put some on the floor. I don’t know if it looks like it, though.

DANCE: Are Kore Shitai! アレコレしたい！ (Juice=Juice)

Hell-Oh! Tras un descanso de bailes la semana pasada, traigo uno nuevo!! ^^ Es Are Kore Shitai! アレコレしたい！ (I want to do a lot of things!) de Juice=Juice.

Hell-Oh! After a week without a dance video, I bring you a new one!! ^^ It’s Are Kore Shitai! アレコレしたい！ (I want to do a lot of things!) from Juice=Juice.

Me encanta este grupo, sobretodo lo que hacían hasta Next is you, y espero que con la entrada de mi querida Nanami vuelvan a tener aquello que me gustaba. En fin, que yo quise bailar este baile desde que salió la canción, y estoy muy contenta de haberla podido grabar ^^

I love this group, especially until next is you, and I hope that since lovely Nanami joined the group, they go back to the awesomeness they were. Anyway, I wanted to dance this since the song came out, and I’m so glad I recorded it now ^^

Este baile, aunque sea más largo de lo que estoy acostumbrada a bailar, no tiene pasos difíciles y se repite bastante. El único problema es que en lo que se repite, hace cambios a veces, y me ha costado bastante no desconcentrarme en esos puntos, que SOY ESPECIALISTA en cagarla en esos puntos.

This dance is longer than what I’m used to dance, but the steps aren’t difficult and it repeats a lot. The only problem was that the repeating steps changed by little details and it was hard for me to focus and do those differences. I’m an EXPERT screwing up that kind of things.

Esta vez he grabado en otro parque diferente de Valencia, que ahora no me acuerdo del nombre. Hace tres años solía ir bastante, y estaba lleno de arbustos con forma de arcos en los caminos, y yo tenía fichado un sitio para grabar un baile, pero ahora SOLO queda ese arco en el que grabé ;-; putos.

A parte, este parque suele estar desierto, pero por algún motivo estaba lleno de gente ese día ._. Tuve que esperar a la hora de comer para que se vaciase un poco.

This time I danced in another park of Valencia, whose name I don’t remember now. I used to go there a lot, like, 3 years ago, and it was full of shrub arches, but now that one is the only one left ._. I'm angry, I had 1 place I wanted to dance, but it isn't cute anymore D:

Also, that park’s usually empty of people, but that day was full ._. I had to wait until lunch time, so people would go away to eat.

Y ahora os voy a contar cómo elegí el baile xD

He estado mucho tiempo sin subir vídeos, pero yo seguía apuntándome cosas que quería hacer, así que tengo una larga lista y casi todo me hace la misma ilusión, así que es difícil decidirse D:

Al final recordé que existían las páginas randompicker y puse un listado, y esta es la canción que eligió el programa :3

Estoy contenta con el resultado, porque es de las más sencillas de todas las que puse, así que para empezar ha estado bien ^^

And, now, I’m going to tell you how I chose the dance xD

I’ve been on hiatus for so long, but I was still looking for thing that I’d like to do, so my list is super long, and I’m equally exited to do all of them, so it’s difficult to choose D:

Somehow, while struggling, I remembered that randompicker pages existed, so I entered a list and this is the chosen song by the program :3

I’m glad about this one, because it’s one of the easiest from the list, it’s a good one to start with ^^

Y ya hice que el programa eligiese las 2 siguientes, pero, con lo larga y variada que es la lista, ha elegido 3 del mismo grupo ._.U así que estoy planteándome cambiar una de ellas, y, a parte, me gustaría intercalar entre este baile y el siguiente, un vídeo de cosplay.

And I already made the program choose the next 2 dances, but… The list is varied and long, but it chose 2 juice=juice songs, too ._.U So, I’m wondering if I should change 1 of the options, and, also, I’d want to upload a cosplay video between this dance and the next one.

COSPLAY - Kanzaki Ranko - Rosenburg Engel ver. (The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls)

¡Hola! Vengo con otro cosplay de Ranko!!!La verdad es que lo tengo hecho desde antes de verano de 2016, porque aun no tenía a Midna cuando lo empecé, pero desde entonces, poco a poco, acabé la vara y repetí las botas. También me atasqué un poco con una pieza similar a la del otro cosplay.

Bueno pues este cosplay es: Kanzaki Ranko (The iDOLM@STER Cinderella Girls) en el traje de su canción y CD Rosenburg Engel. (Link al otro, OFA ver.)

Quería hacer este traje, pero no me lo planteaba del todo, no sé por qué. Pero un día me dio por empezarlo y bueno xD He ido más lenta a causa de la llegada de mi gatita, Midna. Creo que me cuesta 5 veces más de lo normal hacer las cosas con ella por aquí xD

There’s a certain something so similar between both cosplays that I’ve been stuck with, so when I was able to do that part I finished both at the same time (except the wand, which I didn't feel like doing at that time x_D and the boots, which I repeated)

I like this dress, but I wasn’t sure about making it. But, somehow one day I started it. Btw, I started it before 2016 summer and I almost finished it, too, and I made the details I said since then, slowly.

  

Para este cosplay he usado: tela negra (4 tipos) , morada y dorada, pintura roja, azul, negra, dorada, plateada, nacarada y barniz, 4 botones dorados, varios botones invisibles, 2 camafeos de distinto tamaño, hilos de varios colores, cinta morada, masilla, resina, molde para resina, velcro, paciencia, alambre, goma eva, pegamento, plumas negras y blancas, 2 rosas, peluca gris con dos coletas, lentillas rojas, un palo de madera, botas para forrar y cremallera.

-For this cosplay I used: black (4 types), purple and golden fabrics, red, blue, black, gold, silver, nacre and varnish paint, boots to cover, purple ribbon, a wooden stick, 2 plastic roses, some accessories (buttons, zipper, velcro, safety pin, 2 cameo, etc), a bit of foamie, wire, black and white feathers, red contact lenses and a grey wig with 2 curled ponytails.

TOP- Como es bastante complejo, voy a dividir la descripción del top y de la cola, aunque lo haya hecho en la misma pieza.

Para esta pieza utilicé una tela morada similar a la polipiel, pero más sintética. Da la casualidad que encontré en unas rebajas un royo de esta tela, hace mucho, y no sabía para qué la utilizaría, pero el color me gusta, así que la compré, y mira tú por dónde… xD Además de tener un tono bastante similar (depende de la luz) también tiene un aspecto de material parecido a la figura de Ranko que lleva este traje.

Compré otra tela negra similar a la morada. Me gustan estas dos telas, porque son similares a la polipiel, pero con un acabado más brillante, sin llegar al punto de la tela de vinilo. El único problema es que, pinchazo que le dabas, pinchazo que se quedaba. Así que no he podido hilvanar ni hacer mucha prueba realmente… En realidad me sorprende que haya salido así, porque podría haber salido una catástrofe x_D

En fin, hice el patrón y corté la tela dejando MUCHA tela a los lados, por si acaso, ya que tenía 6 metros y no me apena gastar de más xD y monté la pieza delantera, que no sé ni cómo lo hice, porque no tengo maniquí y cosas como esta sin maniquí son un puto dolor. En fin, de algún modo logré que todo quedase en el sitio, le puse las puntillas, de la misma tela, la pieza trasera de la espalda, la zona para los botones, el collar… Y bueno, eso, mucho sudor y lágrimas. Dedos endoloridos al ser una tela bastante dura, y misteriosamente, mi máquina cosiendo capas y capas como una campeona sin pestañear, solo se atascó un par de veces o.o no me lo puedo creer.

TOP- Since this piece’s complex, I’m talking about this in 2 parts: the top and the bottom of it, even though I made them in the same piece.

Long time ago, I found this purple fabric in a sale. I didn’t know what I’ll be doing with it, but it was son cheap. It’s like leatherette but more synthetic. I think that the colour and kind of fabric looks similar to the one on the figure. I bought similar black fabric. It’s kind of shiny, but not as shiny as vinyl, this looks better quality (and it is, indeed. Though it was a sale, it was really pricey at first…) The thing I don’t like about this fabric is that it is even worse for stitches than regular leatherette. So I couldn’t adjust some things better, like I like doing… So I’m kind of surprised it came out fine, this could’ve been a complete disaster…

So, I drew the pattern and I cut a lot of seam allowance just is case I needed to adjust it better (since I hace like 6 m of this fabric, I didn’t care), and I don’t own a mannequin, and that makes some parts of cosplay REALLY hard to do -_- (as hard as stitching this fabric). So, well, somehow I was able to put all the top front and back pieces together, the ruffles (of the same fabrics), buttons and the collar. Seriously, this fabric’s so hard, I’m surprised my sewing machine sew through many layer without coughing – it usually gives me many problems even with 2 layers of regular fabrics ._.

COLA del top- Para esta parte, no podia usar la tela negra del resto del traje, ya que la que estaba usando era muy pesada para eso, y no brillaba lo suficiente. Me costó bastante encontrar una tela que no quedase como de disfraz al lado de la que había utilizado (ya que, aunque me costó a precio de ganga, por lo visto era bastante buena calidad) así que cualquier tela brillante no servía. Estaba mirando unas telas, cuando una roja muy bonita llamó mi atención, y cuando la cogí para comprobar el tacto, miré su cara interna y era negra brillante, con reflejos rojizos (que, aunque no sea así exactamente, pensé que quedaría genial, ya que he comprobado que cuando un traje es negro, queda muy opaco, como una mancha) y tal vez con reflejos de otro color adquiera algo de volumen. El caso es que como en cada lado era de un color, tuve que hacerlo de doble capa. Hice varios triángulos de diferentes tamaños + 2 capas de rejilla negra para darle más volumen, le puse cinta morada más o menos como parecía que lo llevase en la figura, y ya.

BOTTOM of the top- For this part I used a different fabric from the rest of the costume, since it needed to look more shiny and light-weight. I finally used the back of a red fabric, because it was black with red highlights. It isn’t like the original, but, in my experience with black costumes, when it is all black, that part ends up looking like a non-volume spot, so I guessed some different colour highlight would help to that matter.

Anyway, I also needed that fabric to look good with the rest of the fabrics, wich I got in a sale, so cheap, but they were good quality, so I couldn’t use a regular fabric without looking horrible.

So, I made some triangles in different sizes (double layer since I needed both sides to be black) + 2 layers of black grid fabric, to make it puffy. Then I added the purple ribbon trying to resemble the position of it on the figure dress, and that’s all.

 

FALDA- Bueno, no tiene más. Simplemente hice el patrón, cortando mucho sobrante por si las moscas, lo ajusté bien, le puse las tiras negras, la cremallera y ya.

SKIRT- Well, that one’s simple. I made the pattern, I cut a lot of seam allowance because the fabric doesn’t get along with needles. Ended up adjusting it better, added the black strips, the zipper and that’s all.

MANGA- Esta tela es poco elástica, así que he optado por hacer la manga algo ancha. Le puse las puntillas de la misma tela del resto del traje, el camafeo pequeño (que lo explicaré en su propio apartado, porque telita…) y un poco de velcro para ajustar, quitar y poner más o menos cómodamente la pieza.

SLEEVES- This fabric isn’t really elastic, so I made it slightly loose, with velcro to help me putting it on and taking it off. I put the ruffles of the same black fabric and the small cameo (which I’ll explain later in its own bit)

PULSERA- Utilicé la misma tela negra, puse los detalles en tela dorada y lo cerré con velcro.

BRACELET- I used the same black fabric, put the details with golden fabric and I closed it with velcro.

CHORRERAS- Como la tela que he usado es más gruesa, mis chorreras han quedado más anchas, pero creo que queda bien. Son 2 capas de tela negra, una de morado y el camafeo grande (que explicaré luego) con una campanita. Dicho esto, tengo mis dudas sobre si esa pieza es una campanita, un angelito, una cruz o ¿qué? Porque, desgraciadamente, esa figura está muy cara y no he encontrado una foto decente de ese detalle en concreto. De todos modos es algo sencillo de cambiar, y no me importa.

RUFFLE- Because the fabric I used is thick, I couldn’t gather the fabric neatly, so my ruffle ended up being wider than it should be, but I think it looks good anyway. It’s 2 layers of black fabric and one of the purple one and the big cameo with the little bell. That said, I’m not sure if that’s a bell, an angel, a cross or whatever it is, because I don’t trust the anime drawings on that, I can’t afford the figure and I wasn’t able to find good images from the figure of that detail. Anyway, that’s something easily removable, so I’m not that concerned.

ALAS- No sé por qué, pero en este cosplay todo han sido contratiempos. No encontraba plumas blancas ni negras por ningún lado, ni las rosas del color que quería, ni el palo, ni el cristal para el camafeo pequeño, ni tenían cinta de la que necesitaba,  el pigmento no funcionaba en la resina y la pintura de cristal (aunque esto es del otro cosplay, lo hice a la vez) se les había agotado en las tiendas o la tienda había cerrado directamente. Pero todas esas cosas no me han frenado y he conseguido de una manera u otra todo aquello, y está de puta madre. Toma eso, MUNDO 0 – YO 1 >:D ja ja ja!

Breakman y yo, recorrimos los chinos de toda la ciudad para encontrar apenas unos sobres de plumas blancas de diferentes tamaños (y menos aun de negras) y por suerte tenía unas plumas que me sobraron de cuando grabé un videoclip (que ni se nota que son plumas porque la cámara grababa fatal) y pude hacer JUSTO el ala blanca. Hice una base de goma eva con alambre, así que el ala puede doblarse un poquito :3 Y le fui pegando las alas. Tal vez no quedan tan llenas como las de la figura, pero puse el mismo número de plumas, y son del único tamaño que logré encontrar x___D

Y para el ala negra me las vi y me las deseé, porque encontré aun menos plumas y (a mi parecer, más delgadas todavía) tuve que comprar unas alas ya hechas y con cuidado despegarle las plumas para reutilizarlas para mi ala. Le hice la base igual, pero en este caso le hice una placa en la que el ala blanca puede quitarse y ponerse. Más que nada porque tengo otro cosplay en el que necesito alas negras, y ya que esta es más bonita que las que compré para entonces, pues tal vez más adelante haga otra ala negra. Y bueno, en realidad no pesan apenas, pero les hice una especie de arnés para evitar que se tuerzan (cosa que no prometo, tampoco xD) y tal. Ah. No se puede pasar recto por las puertas. xD

WINGS- I don’t know why, but I had a lot of setbacks with this costume. I couldn’t find white and black feathers, nor the roses in the colour I needed, nor the wand, nor the small crystal for the cameo, nor the ribbon I needed, nor the red crystal paint (which  know is of the other cosplay, but I did it on the same time) it was out of stock, or the shop was forever closed. Also, the pigment won’t work on the resin D: BUUUUUT all those things I’ve been able to do in other ways and some of them are way more awesome. Ha! Take that, world! WORLD 0 – ME 1 ! >:D HA HA HA!!!

Breakman and I, went through all the craftstores of the city and were able to find only a bit of white feathers and less, if it’s possible ._., of the black ones. So, thanks to a videoclip I made long ago, where I used white feathers, and I got some left, I was able to make the white wing with just the exact amount of feathers :_D I made a base of foamie with wire (so it can bend a bit, yayyy!! :D ) and I carefully glued the feathers on it, trying to resemble the position of the figure’s feathers. I know mine are thinner, but they look cool anyway. I’m pretty excited of how the wings came out, because I really suck at drawing wings :_D Well, so, for the black wing, I had to buy a pair of already done wings and carefully removed the feathers from it (and, huh, I got black paint, like, everywhere!) and used the ones that looked good. For this wing I also made the same base, but I added a piece in which the white wing can attach. This is practical, because it’ easier to take to places and to store, and also, I’m making other black wing in the future, because I made a cosplay long ago, where I wear black wings, but this one is prettier, so I’ll make the other one sometime ^^

Well, the wings are so light, but I made a harness just to be sure it stays in place and straight (which I don’t assure anyway xD ) And, huh, you can’t just go straight through doors. xD

 

LIGUERO- Lo hice de la tela negra sin más. Espero que no se me resbale, si no, tendré que ponerle un elástico o algo.

GARTER BELT- I made it of the same black fabric. I hope it stays in place, otherwise I’ll need to add an elastic or something of the sort.

ROSA- Bueno, pues fui incapaz de encontrar rosas rojas o rosas, solo blancas. Así que compre blancas y las pinté. Como se puede observar en la figura, es un rojo fresa amoratado, así que pinté mis rosas con una base de rojo carmín, aunque en las fotos se ve escarlata (porque sí ._.) y le hice degradados en morado y negro. Pues, las fotos no le hacen justicia al color, en serio, no hay una sola foto que sea como el color exacto que son, y también depende de la luz xD Además hay un detalle que me encanta, y es que, como la base es blanca y por lo visto la tela base tiene un acabado ligeramente aterciopelado (como los pétalos de verdad), el reflejo se ve blanquecino, ayudando a darle visualmente más volumen, y me encanta como han quedado *-*

Bueno, una es para la vara, y la otra es para el accesorio del pelo. Le puse dos tiritas negras de la tela del traje, un imperdible para poderlo poner en el gancho de las coletas y ya.

ROSE- So, I wasn’t able to find other roses that white, so I painted them. As you can see in the figure, the roses are purplish strawberry red, so I first painted them in carmine red (though it looks scarlet in the pics ._.), and next I made some purple and black gradations. And because of the petals fabric was slightly velvety (just like real roses), it has white highlights which helps giving it extra volume. So, none of the pics share the real colour of my roses, and gosh I love them. They look like real roses *-* omg <3

So, one of the roses was for the wand, and the other one was for the hair accessory. I added 2 black strips and a safety pin and c’est fini.

CAMAFEOS- Compré dos bases de diferentes tamaños y un cristal para el grande. No encontré uno para el pequeño, así que hice uno de masilla. Al grande no se le podía quitar la imagen que ya llevaba pegada, pero sin problema. Breakman hizo moldes de los 2 cristales y bueno, al igual que en la gema del otro cosplay, primero intentamos mezclar pigmento en las piedras, fracasando estrepitosamente, ya que la resina amarilleaba, volviendo el lila a un verde aguamarina sucio. Intenté utilizar las que habían quedado más claras, pero el verde ensuciaba el lila, y pintado por encima era horrible, así que al final hicimos unas transparentes y las pinté en la base con una mezcla de mi pigmento, barniz, plateado, nacarado, blanco y púrpura. Necesitaba que fuera reflectante para que la piedra no quedase opaca. Y bueno, al final estoy bastante contenta con el resultado, ha quedado un color muy bonito :3 y al ser la base pintada me ahorro el dilema de que no transparente la parte del camafeo xD

Los camafeos los pinté de dorado porque eran algo oscuros.

CAMEOS- I bought 2 bases and the crystal for the big one, because I couldn’t find one that fit for the small one. The big crystal already had an image and it was impossible to erase it. Anyway I don’t care, because I already needed to make a mold for the small crystal (that I made a prototype with putty). Breakman made both molds for me. So, as with the red gem from the other cosplay, first we tried to put some purple pigment on the resin, and tried again, but the resin went yellow, making the stones green. So, in the end, we made the stones clear and I painted them on its base, and I really like the result. Also, this way I don’t mind about the base of the cameo showing through the crystal :P

I painted the cameos I gold, because they were so dark.

 

Fail... (I cleaned the paint, so I still have them in the clear green color)

BOTAS- Tela negra, morada y dorada de la misma del traje, un poco de tela antideslizante para la suela, velcro para los cierres, más paciencia que un santo para probar esto y que encaje bien todo.
Hice un primer forro para unos zuecos, ya que el talón se muestra en estas botas, pero no me gustó cómo quedó, así que lo repetí, y esta vez simplemente uso una tela de color carne y está cerrado; me hubiera gustado poderlo hacer abierto, como en la realidad :S pero creo que de esta forma queda mucho mejor...

BOOTS- I used black, purple and golden fabric, velcro, some antiskid fabric for the sole, a lot of patience and so on. 
I made a first attemp with some clogs, because you need to show part of the feet, but I didn't like the result, so I did it again, with other shoes, and closed cover, with a flesh coloured fabric for that part. I would've liked better the boots showing the ankles, like it is :S but it looks better how I did it the 2nd time...

VARA- No encontré un palo del grosor necesario ni del tamaño mínimo necesario, así que compré un set de palos, serré uno a trocitos y los añadí estratégicamente donde la vara lleva detalles y pueda tapar el corte. Puse unos clavos dentro para hacer una unión estable entre las piezas (3 piezas), y cola de 2 componentes, y niquelao. Luego, con masilla hice los detalles de los bordes. Al final, me quedé sin masilla por una mierdecita y tuve que comprar más. Y ahí es cuando me di cuenta de que excepto esa última que compré, el resto estaba medio pasada, porque no había quien moldease eso, y lleno de pedacitos de masa seca ._. en serio, qué horror. En fin, al final igual conseguí sacar algo decente para ser mi habilidad de modelado+esa masilla asquerosa. Lo pinté de negro, luego en dorado y al final le pegué la rosa del apartado de antes.

WAND- I didn’t find a stick as the one I needed so I bought 2 wooden sticks, I sawed one of them to make 1 longer, using strategical spots where the wand has details to hide the joints. I tried to put nails in between to make the joint more stable, with glue. Then I fought with the putty to make the details (because, I later found out that the putty wasn't in good condition...). And I finally painted it in black, then golden and then added the rose.

LENTILLAS- Compré las mismas que tuve anteriormente, porque son bonitas y naturales, quedan bien con mis ojos oscuros, y resultaron ser super cómodas (al contrario que las lentillas azules que tuve)

LENSES- I bought the same model of red lenses I had once, because it looks good and natural, it’s nice with dark eye colors, and it’s also really comfortable (unlike the blue lenses I owned D: )

PELUCA- Cuando compré la peluca, Ranko todavía no era conocida, porque no había ni siquiera salido el anime de Cinderella, así que había solo dos tonos de gris en pelucas de dos coletas. Un gris clarito casi blanco y un gris super oscuro que no me gustaba nada T_T Así que compré la gris clarita cruzando los dedos porque resultase ser algo más oscura, o tal vez en oscurecerla un poco yo después, pero era casi blanca, y en las fotos todavía salía más blanca… Además, venía con un cardado en la parte frontal, para dar más volumen a la cabeza, y eso hacía que el pelo se alejase de mi cara, por más que lo aplastase, y no me gusta como me queda eso a mi T_T De todos modos seguí adelante y estilicé las coletas (porque como no eran para ranko, eran lisas) Y aquí hay otro problema; si te fijas en la figma y en los dibujos, a Ranko el pelo no le llega a los hombros apenas. Así que así corté las coletas y las ricé. Más bien un ondulado que un tirabuzón, porque tengo una plancha, pero no material para hacer tirabuzones. Y bueno, la peluca quedó monísima, pero no parecía nada Ranko T_T entre que se separaba el pelo del flequillo, que era demasiado claro y que en dibujo ese largo está bien, pero en persona queda mejor si es más largo… Pues fatal T_T Así que me compré otra hace poquito, ahora que Ranko ya es conocida si que estaba disponible su color, y las coletas ya rizadas. Así que nada, estilicé el flequillo y las coletas paso de tocarlas. Son más largas de lo que deberían, pero en persona quedan mejor así >< !!!!!

***La otra peluca está en venta!! No conozco ningún personaje para esta peluca, pero creo que quedaría muy bonita para vestir Lolita o kimono ^^ (Por eso me da algo de pena, pero tengo ya otras pelucas que podría usar para eso) Puedes mandarme un mensaje si te interesa la peluca ^^

WIG- When I bought Ranko’s wig, she wasn’t known, because the anime hadn’t aired yet, so her hair colour wasn’t available :S There was a super light grey, almost white, and a super ugly dark grey. So I bought the light one hoping it was darker than in the pic, but it wasn’t :_D And it looked even more whiter in the pictures D: Also, the part of the fringe is combed. In theory, it’s meant to make the head look bigger, but in the practice it makes a gap between the hair and my face, and I don’t quite like that :/ Seriously. So, hum, anyway, I tried doing ahead with it and I stylized the ponytails (because, as long that wig wasn’t meant for Ranko, the ponytails were straight) And then we have another problem. You see, in the figma and pictures, Ranko’s hair hardly reaches her shoulders, so, that’s what I made. I cut the ponytails and I tried to curl them with the tools I have, so it isn’t a curl, but many little curls. It’s not like Ranko’s, but it’s still cute <3 Anyway! When a person is wearing that, that hair length is weird, it looks better if it’s longer :/ So, even if the ponytail’s length was accurate, it didn’t looked good. Well, it’s more like, even if the length is accurate and it’s so cute, it doesn’t look like Ranko at all :S So, huh… well, I bought a new wig, now that Ranko’s known. Now her hair colour is available, and the ponytails are already curled, so I just stylized the fringe and I don’t care if the ponytails are too long, because they look gorgeous! <3

***It’s sad, because the other wig is sooo cute, but I don’t think I’m using it for any other thing, so I’m selling it. It could work for Lolita, kimono or another cosplay I just don’t know about. Just message me and we can talk about it ^^

Y bueno, nada más. Que ya añadiré fotos buenas cuando me pueda tomar fotos, y bueno, está canción, hasta donde yo sé, tiene baile, pero no la he visto con este vestido y tampoco con vara, así que he improvisado lo que intuí que hacía con la vara. Aquí tenéis el baile, espero que os guste ^^
