Hell-Oh!! Hoy vamos a hablar de Deep Blue Song, de iMarine Project. La voz es de 内田 彩 (lo siento, no me atrevo a adivinar cómo suena). La coreografía la hizo Yumiko a.k.a. MTP, pero, por razones obvias, lo aprendí de Pan2.
Hell-Oh!! Today we're talking about Deep Blue Song, from iMarine Project. Voice's 内田 彩 (sorry, I don't know how this reads). Choreo's by Yumiko a.k.a. MTP, but, for obvious reasons, I learnt it from Pan2.
Los aesthetics de iMarine me gustan mucho, pero prácticamente todo está en japonés, así que realmente, aún a día de hoy, no acabo de entender muy bien qué pasa en este proyecto xD Casi cada single tiene personajes y situaciones diferentes, excepto por Aimarin; pero incluso ella recibe un rediseño. Sé que Aimarin es un reciclaje de Marin, un personaje de Umi Monogatari, un anime de 2009, pero poco más 😅
I really like iMarine aesthetics, but almost everything's in japanese, so, until this day, I still don't fully understand what's going on with this project xD Almost all singles have different backgrounds and characters, except for Aimarin; and even she gets a redesign. I know Aimarin is an upcycle of Marin, a character from Umi Monogatari, an anime from 2009, but that's all I know 😅
Esta canción es muy bonita, y es de las más calmadas (aunque tiene momentos de mucha actividad durante toda la coreo xD). Y en general la coreo tiene pasos muy delicados, y Pan2, la odorite que la bailó en el video oficial, llevaba un conjunto que se parecía mucho a lo que yo tenía en mi armario, así que me dieron muchas ganas de bailarla.
This is such a beautiful song, and it's one of the slowest of all (not really slow in itself, tho xD). In general, the steps are delicate, and Pan2, the odorite that danced it in the official video, was wearing an outfit that really looked like something in my wardrove, so, I really wanted to dance it!
Entre unas cosas y otras, estuve ocupada o enferma durante dos veranos
seguidos, así que no pude hacerla, porque cuando más pega es en verano,
obvio. Pero creo que estoy contenta de haber tardado tanto en hacerla. Porque no era consciente de su dificultad. Es el típico baile que parece fácil porque tiene pasos lentos en algunos trozos, pero qué va. Pan2 es ADMIRABLE. Porque hace falta una resistencia y una fuerza muscular para hacer cambios de sentido y de ritmo tan bruscos y que quede bien, hacer gestos extremadamente lentos sin hacerlos fofos... De verdad, sin el ejercicio muscular que hice este año, no creo que me hubiera salido ni la mitad de lo que me ha salido.
During 2 summers I was busy or ill, so, I couldn't do it. Because it has to be done during summer, of course xD But I'm happy I had to wait until now. I wasn't aware of its difficulty. It's the kind of dance that looks easy, because it has slow steps at some points... NOPE. Pan2's SO GREAT. It really takes a lot of muscle strength and resistance to do all those direction/speed changes and very slow steps, while still looking good. I'm completely sure I wouldn't have done half as good as I did, without the muscle work I did this year.
Me costó de aprender, porque hacía calor, y tenía que descansar mucho entre cada intento. A parte, durante unos días me veía como una patata y que no conseguía hacer los pasos como quería o como creía que me estaban saliendo, y fue un poco frustrante... Pero siento que he aprendido mucho con este baile.
La verdad es que me hubiera gustado poder limpiar un poco más los pasos, pero estaba estancada ya. Supongo que tendrá que pasar otro tiempo (o trabajar más la musculatura) para poder mejorarlo más. Pero, como digo, aunque no tengo una versión antigua con qué compararlo, sé exactamente que me hubiera quedado una patata, antes. Estoy bastante contenta con el resultado 😊
It was a bit hard to learn, because it was so hot I had to rest a lot of time in between attemps. Also, there were some days in which I saw myself as a potato, and I couldn't do the steps the way I wanted or they didn't look the way I thought. It was a bit frustrating... But, I fell that I learnt a lot thanks to this dance.
To be honest, I would've liked cleaning some steps a little bit more, but I was stuck there. I guess I'll need to let some more time pass (or work muscles a bit more) to be able to get it better. But, like I said, even if I don't have an older version to compare, I know how I would've done before. I'm so happy with the result 😊
Y bueno, para la ropa, usé el vestido que tenía en mente, pero como transparentaba y al agacharme se me bajaba un poco el top, acabé poniéndome debajo una blusa (se ven las mangas) y una falda (que alarga el vestido xD). Me recogí el pelo con un lazo blanco que hice hace 2 años y me puse estas sandalias de hace dos años también 😅 Me hubiera gustado grabar en un sitio con más agua (sólo está el agua en la pequeña fuente del fondo del puente), pero con todo lo que está pasando, este era el único lugar más accesible que había.
For the outfit, I used the dress I decided 2 years ago, but it's seetrough, so, inside, I wore a blouse (sleeves are from it) and a white skirt (that makes the dress longer). I tied my hair with a white ribbon I made 2 years ago and I wore this sandals I bought 2 years ago, too 😅 I would've liked recording in a place with more water, but, since the world's crazy these days, this was the best I could find.
Lo grabé todo entero en el puente, pero la verdad es que ahí no hay mucho espacio para colocar la cámara, así que estaba bastante lejos y no se me veía del todo bien. A parte, el suelo queda en diagonal a como debía bailar, y acabé desplazándome hacia atrás. Así que, pese a que ya tenía cierta idea de que quería grabar tomas, la verdad es que me vino bien, porque ahí no se ven muy bien algunos gestos o no pude hacerlos tan cómoda porque no había tanto espacio.
I recorded a full take on the bridge, but to be honest, there's not a lot of space there to get a good camera angle, so, it was a bit far and details couldn't be seen. Also, the ground was in diagonal to the line I had to dance in, so I ended up going even farther back. I already wanted to make more takes for this video, but it ended up being really helpful to help some steps being visible enough. There, you couldn't see well, and I hadn't got enough space to move comfortably.

Este es un baile (y canción) que me gusta mucho, y llevaba queriendo hacerlo desde hace mucho. Por unas cosas y otras, siempre acababa dejándolo para más tarde, y menos mal, porque creo que no era consciente de su dificultad. O sea, no es que sea super difícil, pero tiene los típicos pasos en los que me trabo porque el cuerpo no me responde(?) Y creo que ahora he conseguido hacerlo decentemente, aunque no sin pelearme con ellos un poco. No creo que me hubiera salido a mi gusto antes.
This is a dance (and a song) that I really like, and I wanted to dance it since a long time. For many reasons, I kept postponing it, and I'm glad I did, because I thought it was easier than it is. I mean, it's not super difficult, but it has the kind of steps that get my feet tangled or frozen, and my body doesn't react(?) And I think I was able to do it somehow properly now (not avoiding the fight with those steps anyway xD). I don't think I would've been content with the result before.
Hace ya tiempo que compré este vestido, y quería usarlo para esta canción, pero siendo negro y apeteciéndome la idea de grabarlo de noche o con un fondo oscuro, me parecía que no se iba a ver bien; en realidad esta era una de las cosas que me frenaba a grabarlo. Finalmente, hice pruebas con la ISO de mi cámara, probando con un foco portátil, y se veía bastante bien! Así que al fin me decidí. Y el lugar elegido tenía también un foco bastante potente, así que hubo luz de sobras, y el brillo de las estrellitas en el vestido quedaron genial 💜💜
It's been a while since I bought this dress, and I wanted to use it for this song, but it's black and I wanted to dance at night or with a dark background. So, I was afraid it would fuse with the background, and that's one of the things that made me reticent to record it. Finally, I did tests of my camera's ISO, with a portable light, and it looked pretty good! So, I finally decided to record it. And also, there was this strong light in the place I chose to record, so there was plenty of light. And the shining of the little stars on the dress was so beautiful!!! 💜💜
Hice un accesorio para el pelo y me compré unas sandalias a última hora, porque no tenía nada que pegase. Así que creo que podría haber bailado más cómoda si hubiera tenido más conocidas las sandalias, pero tampoco fue para tanto.
I made a hair accessory and I bought the sandals last minute, because I didn't have anything that looked good with the dress. So, maybe could've been more comfortable if I were more used to the sandals, but it wasn't that bad.
El problema fue llegar al sitio a tiempo y lograr grabar antes de que oscureciera. El sitio está arriba de una montañita, así que tenía que ir un rato antes, pero sin pasarme, porque aún hacía calor y me cansaría demasiado/se derretiría el maquillaje. Desde que llegué hasta acabar de grabar, no pasaron más de 15 minutos, pero pasó del día a la noche super de prisa! Me hubiera gustado que hubiera un poco más de azul en el cielo y no acabase tan oscuro al final, pero bueno. Y obviamente añadí las estrellas durante la edición. Tan temprano aún no se ven las estrellas, y aunque se vieran, la cámara no llega a tanto 😅
The problem was arriving at the place before it got dark. The place is up a little mountain, so I obviously had to go with time ahead, but not so much, because it was still pretty hot and that would've made me tired/melt the make up. Since I arrived and I finished recording, only 15 min passed, but it got from day to night super fast! I would've liked the sky to be a little bit clearer, and not so so dark at the end, but it's how it is. I obviously added the stars while editing. There're no stars so early, and even if there were, my camera's not so powerful 😅
En fin, al menos tuve la suerte de conseguir grabar a la primera. La verdad es que hice un fallo... del que ni siquiera me di cuenta mientras lo grababa 😅 Porque estaba tan nerviosa rezando por no equivocarme antes de que anocheciera completamente, y escuchaba tras de mi un ruidito (que era una polilla gigante pegándose con el foco, y que, según Breakman, le pegue sin darme cuenta un manotazo bailando y la dejé fuera de combate durante un rato), así que estaba algo preocupada, y Breakman, que llevaba mascarilla, así que no le podía ver la cara entera, hacía como ojos de susto. Así que yo estaba en plan "wtf, qué pasa 😱". Lo que pasaba es que le estaba pareciendo tan bonito que tenía los ojos como platos, pero joer, qué susto 😅
Whatever, at least I got to record it at the first attempt. To be honest... there's a mistake I didn't even notice when I was dancing it 😅 I was so nervous because I wanted to record it before it went completely dark, I didn't want to make mistakes. And I heard this clicking noise all the time (it was a huge moth hitting the light, and, as Breakman told me after that, I hit the moth while dancing and knocked it off for a while without noticing), so I was disturbed about that noise. And also Breakman was wearing a mask, and I could only see the eyes, which were like of alarm(?). So I was like "wtf's happening?? 😱". The only thing happening was that Breakman was liking the dance so much he put his eyes all round. I got scared by that, wtf 😅
La verdad es que, pese a que me peleé un poco con algunos pasos, y que hacía mucho calor para bailar, este baile me hacía mucha ilusión y me emociono mucho bailándolo. Me he divertido mucho con este proyecto 💜

The truth is, despite fighting a bit with some steps and the heat of those days, this dance project has been very fun to do, I was so excited to do it and I felt so happy dancing it!

En total, el vídeo duraba casi 10 minutos. De entre todos los bailes, había dos que ya había hecho, y unos cuantos a los que les tenía el ojo echado. Estuve pensando en la posibilidad de grabar cada canción por separado, para usar ropa ajustada a cada uno, pero me tentó demasiado ponerme a prueba y ver si era capaz de aguantar un baile tan largo y activo del tirón. Sí. De modo que acabé escogiendo la misma ropa que usé para Love&Joy, porque es muy cómodo y fresco, y así tenía una preocupación menos. Y el fondo lo dejé medio sencillo, abriendo las cortinas blancas, con corazones y globos. Quería dejar un fondo luminoso, como en Love&Joy, pero no podía repetir la cortina blanca sola sin más 😅
In total, it was almost 10 minutes long. Among all the dances, there were a couple I already danced, and there were a few I already wanted to dance. I thought about recording each dance separately, so I could change outfits and make them more fitting for each song, but I kinda wanted to try if I could dance all of them non-stop, being so active. Yeah. So, I ended up picking the same outfit I used for Love&Joy, because it was comfortable and fresh, and I had one less thing to worry about. I prepared a simple background, opening the white curtains to show a bit of the blue ones, with hearts and some balloons. I wanted it to be bright, but I already set a completely white background for Love&Joy, so I didn't want to repeat it that much 😅
El baile de Lucky Star ya lo bailé en 2018. Me alegré de hacerle una visita de nuevo, porque tuve tantos problemas con la peluca al grabar, que se me quedó la boca amarga. Creo que esta vez me salió mucho mejor, aunque hay diferencias en los pasos, porque en 2018 me basé en el baile de un concierto de las seiyuus y esta vez me basé en el anime. Me alegro de no haberme deshecho de los pompones, aunque me tocó estirarlos porque estaban algo chafados de estar en la bolsa xDDD
I danced Lucky Star's dance in 2018. I'm glad I could revisit it, because I had so much trouble recording it because of the wig, that I got a bitter memory of it. I think this time I got it much better, despite having some differences in the steps. In 2018 I learnt it from a live stage of the seiyuu, and this time I learnt it from the animation. I'm glad I didn't threw the pompoms xDDD
El baile de Haruhi fue relativamente fácil, pero había algunos pasos en los que me salía la dislexia y me costaba acordarme de qué lado era la derecha y cuál la izquierda 😅
Haruhi's dance was quite easy, but I had trouble remembering which side was the right and which one was the left, so I had it hard to not mistake sides 😅
El de Youkai Watch siempre me llamó la atención, porque me recordaba en cierto modo al Mite Mite Kocchicchi de Pokémon. Este fue muy fácil y divertido, totalmente recomendable!
Youkai Watch's video had always caought my attention, because it somehow reminded me of Mite Mite Kocchicchi (Pokémon). This one was easy and funny, 100% recommended!
La canción de Kill me Baby me confundió bastante... porque a parte de los cambios de posición bruscos y excesivamente rápidos, y las piruetas mortales, había algo en cómo levantaban una pierna, que cuando la cruzaban por delante de la otra pierna para levantarla hacia un lado, se transformaba en la otra pierna(???) Primero pensé que estaba alucinando, pero luego investigué, y es que resulta que los animadores de esa serie lo hicieron a propósito para que la gente no lo pudiera bailar xD Y eso, digamos... que me triguereó más xD Y obviamente las piruetas mortales no puedo hacerlas, para eso usé edición, pero para lo demás me las arreglé cómo pude e incluso hice el puente hacia atrás! Tuve que entrenar eso mucho para perderle el respeto, porque me daba algo de miedo fallar con la mano y meterme un golpe 😅
Kill Me Baby's dance confused me a lot... along with the abrupt position changes and crazy pirouettes, there was this thing about the legs, that when they crossed in front of the other one, legs were changed(???) First I thought I was hallucinating, but I researched, and it seems like the animators decided to create an impossible dance to piss off dancers xD And that, let's say... triggered me xD And I obviously can't do crazy pirouettes, but I used video edition for that one, and for the rest I tried my best, and I even got to do the bridge to the back! (sorry, I don't really know how to say this in english xD just watch the video and you'll understand better) I had to train that a lot to dare to do it, because I was scared to hit my head 😅
Ren'ai Circulation es el otro baile que había bailado ya. En la grabación de 2018 estaba resfriada, así que no estaba del todo bien, y en esas situaciones no me puedo concentrar bien y estoy torpe, así que podéis imaginaros que la grabación tampoco fue muy suave. Así que me alegré de volver a visitarlo, también. Creo que esta vez me salió mucho mejor, pero, eso sí, adivinad qué bailes se me atragantaron más de todo el Medley. Exacto, los dos que ya sabía de antes (y otros dos, que ya comentaré luego) 😅
Ren'ai Circulation's the other dance I already danced. In 2018's recording, I was ill, so I wasn't feeling very well. On those situations I can't focus and I'm clumsy, so, you can guess the recording wasn't smooth. So, i was happy to revisit it, too. I think this time I did it much better, but, honestly, guess which dances were more troublesome of them all. Yes, exactly. The ones I already learnt (and other 2 I'll talk about later) 😅
El baile de Shugo Chara me costó un poco, porque al ser un vídeo de referencia antiguo, estaba en poca resolución, y además tenían un efecto de brillo alrededor de ellas, así que no veía del todo bien qué gestos hacían con sus manos 😅 De modo que estuve mirando covers de otras personas a ver qué hacían, porque no quería hacer cualquier cosa. Y, a parte, hubo un paso que no supe entender. Si hubiera sido para un baile entero, me habría centrado más en ello, pero como tenía tantos bailes para aprender, simplemente me contenté con hacer algún gesto que no quedase del todo mal y ya.
Shugo Chara's dance gave me some trouble, because it being an old video reference, the quality wasn't very good. And also that shine around them! I couldn't see wtf they were doing with theis hands!! 😅 So, I checked out some covers to see what did other people do, because I didn't wanna guess and do whatever. And there was this one step I didn't understand. If it were for a full dance I would've tried harder, but I needed to learn more dances, so I contented myself with doing something that didn't look horrible.
Con el baile de Pretty Cure no tuve ningún problema! Fue bastante entretenido, siempre había querido probar alguno, pero me daba un poco de cosilla, porque quitado los inicios de las series, no he visto más. Y para ser sinceros no es que recuerde la gran cosa 😅 En cualquier caso, gracias a este medley me he quitado esa espinita :3 La verdad es que la mayoría de los bailes incluídos no he visto las series; en mi casa sólo teníamos las cadenas de televisión básicas, ni siquiera llegaba TV3. Más adelante, incluso dejé de ver la TV, así que me distancié algo del anime, y me centré más en el manga. Y la verdad es que no hace tanto que empecé a usar internet, así que a veces siento que he estado/estoy un poco desconectada de todo. Pero ponerse al día, sobretodo con series tan largas o con tantas temporadas, da un poco de vértigo... así que nunca me pongo a ello, sobretodo porque tengo temporadas en las que no soy capaz de centrar mi atención en los capítulos.
I didn't have much trouble with Pretty Cure's dance! It was quite entertaining, I've always wanted to try one of these, but I was a bit reticent because, aside the beginning of the series, I haven't watch more of it. And, tbh, I don't remember that much 😅 Anyway, thanks to this medley, I was able to try, finally :3 To be honest, most of the dances included in the medley, I haven't watch the anime; in my house there were just the regular tv channels that only included really old anime from the 80's and older (some of the 90's, but most of it was older; and US cartoon). When they started to get fresher anime, I lost my interest on TV long ago, and I mostly consumed manga. And I didn't have internet either, until not long ago. So, I usually feel like I've been/I am a bit disconnected from everything. But, catching up on everything, it's so overwhelming, especially with really long animes or with a lot of seasons, like these ones...
Para los dos bailes de Touhou voy a hablar a la vez, y es que ocurre casi lo mismo en ambos xD Ambos tienen unas referencias originales que también tienen una resolución un poco mala xD Y son de una época en la que había más improvisación (o caos) durante los bailes, así que es un poco complicado saber a dónde mirar, así que simplemente hice lo que mejor me pareció. Eso sí, los viví mucho, porque son canciones que escuchaba bastante hace unos años, y de hecho son bailes que me gustaría hacer enteros alguna vez. Con el de Kero Destiny tuve algunos problemas, básicamente por la dislexia y porque a esas alturas del baile me pillaba ya algo cansada; es decir, con más facilidad para cometer errores.
For both Touhou dances it's almost the same experience, so I'll talk about them at the same time xD Both have old reference videos, with also a really bad quality xD And at that time, there was more improvisation (you can call it chaos) during the dances, so, it's a bit difficult to know who to look at, so I basically did what I preferred better. That said, I had the time of my life dancing them, because I used to hear these songs a lot some years ago, and these are dance I would like to do a full cover of. With Kero Destiny I had some problems, because at that stage, I was already very tired, and that makes me prone to mistakes and mixing left with right.
Y, para finalizar, Koi no Hime. Este me costó bastante, porque, estando al final (y viniendo de dos bailes donde lo daba TODO) ya no podía con mi alma. Y los gestos del baile no son muy marcados. Son como muy naturales, y esa clase de pasos son los que más me cuestan pese a parecer tan fáciles, porque me cuesta entender la lógica detrás de ellos, así que me cuesta memorizarlos. Y encima pídeme que fuerce la memoria y la concentración a los 9 minutos de baile seguido... No sé ni cómo lo conseguí. Estuve barajando la idea de que, si me equivocaba en este, sólo repetiría este baile, porque lo raro era que me saliera bien después de todo.
And, the last dance, Koi no Hime. This one took me a while, because being the last one (and after giving it all on the last 2) I was too tired to live. And the dance steps aren't very strong, they're very natural, and that kind of steps, while looking easy, are hard for me, because there's no logic behind them, then, it's difficult to remember. Especially if I'm so tired after 9 minutes of dancing nonstop... I don't even know how I did it. I thought that, if I did a mistake at that point, I would've just recorded that dance separately, because it was weird to get it right after all of the rest.
En este baile no me quejo de la calor porque lo grabé en mayo, así que aun no hacía TANTO calor. Si hubiera tenido que grabarlo en junio, no hubiera podido del tirón. Lo que sí ocurrió es que tuve que pausarlo por el dolor de muelas y continuar después de ir al dentista 😅
In this dance I don't complain about the heat, because I recorded it in May, and it wasn't THAT hot yet. If I had to record this in June, I wouldn't have been able to do it in 1 take. What did happen is that I had to stop learning it for a while because of the tooth ache and I continued after I got it fixed 😅
Durante Kero Destiny hay un pequeño corte, y es que mi cámara no puede grabar archivos superiores a 9:30 minutos, y entre cortes, pierde algún frame. No es mucho, pero es lo suficiente como para que me moleste ese pequeño salto 😡
During Kero Destiny, there's a small cut. My camera can't record files larger than 9:30 minutes. It's not that much, but it looses some frames, and I can notice the little jump 😡
Desde que retomé las actividades, he participado en muchas colabs. Cuando salió esta, estaba metida ya en muchas y me pregunté si me daría tiempo o no. Había adelantado bastante trabajo, así que pensé que sí. Pero con el dolor de muela perdí bastante tiempo 😢 Aún así, finalmente lo conseguí, así que bien está lo que bien acaba, ¿no?
Since I resumed activities, I joined a lot of collabs. When I heard of this one, I was already in many and I wondered if I would have time or not. I had a lot of videos done in advance, so I thought why not? But with all the tooth ache and stuff I had to rest and I lost a lot of time there 😢 Anyway, I finally did it, so it's ok.
Pese a todos los problemas, me divertí mucho aprendiendo tanta variedad para un sólo vídeo, y retándome a mi misma con un vídeo tan largo. Ya lo dije en youtube, pero lo repito. Despite all the trouble, I had a lot of fun learning such variety of dances for just 1 video, and daring myself to do a long dance like this one. Bueno, pues la coreografía es para tres, así que tuve que adaptarla un poco parahacerla de uno, y a parte le modifiqué algunos gestos un poco, para hacer guiños a Ema Skye. Colocaré varias imágenes en el post, que ilustran un poco lo que quiero decir.
The choreo is for 3 people, so I had to adjust it for just 1, and Ialso changed some gestures, to reference Ema Skye. I'll add some images during the post, to show what I'm saying.
La verdad es que es la primera coreografía (creo) de Penta que aprendo (aunque no es 100% suya). Mira que tengo algunas en lista de espera desde hace tiempo, pero se coló esta 1º xD Porque llevaba mucho tiempo queriendo usar el cosplay de Ema Skye para algún baile, no solo para vlogs. Estuve pensando en un baile relacionado con "ciencia", pero la letra era demasiado densa y liosa... Y si bien en Ace Attorney hay asesinatos y tal, Ema en sí no es un personaje con ese aura 😕 Y entonces recordé que esta canción contenía "saiban" en su título, como el nombre del juego en japonés (Gyakuten Saiban) y no hubo decisión que hacer.
I think this is the first choreo from Penta that I learn (and it's no 100% hers). I have a lot of them in my wishlist for a long time, but somehow this one got chosen first xD It's all because I wanted to use Ema Skye's cosplay for a dance cover, not only for vlogs. I was thinking on doing one related to "science", but the lyrics were dark and confusing... And, ok, Ace Attorney has murders and so on, but Ema's a cheerful character 😕 And the I remembered this dance has "saiban" in its name, like the name of the game in japanese (Gyakuten Saiban) and so, there was no decision to make.
Dejé el escenario bastante sencillo, porque no tengo nada que pegue con escenarios del juego. Simplemente hice al tejón azul para adornar xD Con los desperfectos incluidos xD
I left the background quite simple, because I don't have anything that looks like the game's places. I simply did Blue Badger for decoration xD With the damages as well xD
Para este baile también tuve algunos problemas, y es que son muchas capas de ropa, y hacía calor xD Y cuando tengo calor, se me fríe el cerebro y empiezo a estar más torpe y liarla. Así que, definitivamente hice algunos fallos y no me salió del todo como me hubiera gustado, pero no podía hacer más intentos, me estaba muriendo 😅
For this dance I also had problems, and one of them is that this cosplay has a lot of fabric layers, and it was hot xD And when my temperature goes high, my brain melts and I start being more clumsy and so on. So, definitely, I did some mistakes and not everything went like I wanted, but I couldn't do more attempts, I was dying 😅
El otro problema, a parte de que se me enredase el pelo en los brazos, es que desde que me puse enferma el verano pasado, se me quedaron las rodillas y los tobillos un poco afectados, y por lo que he notado, molesta más cuando hace calor. Y este baile requería que me cayera al suelo. Así que, sí, las rodillas me dolían un poco, así que no estaba demasiado cómoda. Ojo, no tiene que ver con el baile, me las dislocaba simplemente andando, pero efectivamente, lo de caer al suelo mucho no ayudaba a la recuperación. Es uno de los motivos por los que hice el closeup de la caida, para no tenerlo que repetir, en caso de cagarla durante el baile. A parte, intenté recrear una de las escenas del caso de Ema.
The other problem (aside getting my hair tangled ayound my arms, again) is that since I was ill last summer, my knees and ankles got a bit weak, and I noticed it's worse when it's hot. And this dance required me to fall to the ground. So, yeah, I wasn't exactly comfortable while dancing because the knees were hurting. But, so you know, the pain doesn't have to do with the dance, I got them dislocated while walking, but, surely, the falling part wasn't helping with the recovery. It's one of the reasons I did the falling closeup, so I could avoid falling a hundred times, in case I messed the rest of the dance. Also, it was part of one of in-game Ema's scenes.
Como casi cualquier vez que bailas algo de un coreógrafo nuevo, no fue exactamente fácil, pero tampoco fue una tarea frustrante, como otras veces. Siento que aprendí mucho al probar pasos nuevos.
Like every time you try a dance by a new choreographer, it wasn't exactly easy, but it wasn't super hard like other times. I feel that I learnt a lot by trying new steps.

Creo que no he comentado esto públicamente, pero los temas de extraterrestres me interesan, ya que mi abuelo los usaba como cuentos de miedo (bueno, él no lo hacía con esa intención, pero a mi me dejaban traumada xD) y se me quedó la curiosidad desde entonces. Últimamente ha habido tantas noticias y eventos relacionados con extraterrestres, que, de repente me brilló la bombilla y pensé que cómo que no se me había ocurrido hasta ese momento, hacer un baile sobre extraterrestres??!! Y, el 1º en el que pensé fue este, porque me gustan las coreografías divertidas y, además, al ser un formato impar, es mucho más fácil adaptarlo para bailarlo solo.
I don't remember saying this before, but I've been interested in extraterrestial stuff all my life. My grandpa used to tell me alien scary stories (well, he didn't try scaring me, but it traumatised me xD) and I'm curious about it since then. Lately, there's been so many news and events related to extraterrestials, that, at that moment, I thought Why didn't I thought about it earlier?? And the 1st song about aliens I thought was this one, because I like funny choreos, and since it's a choreo for a odd number, it's easier to reduce it for a solo.
Estuve dándole muchas vueltas al tema de la ropa, porque sabía que quería usar unos leggings con estampado de galaxia, pero es complicado combinarlo con el resto de ropa en mi armario (excepto ropa oscura, que no quería llevar, porque sabía que iba a poner cortinas oscuras y no quería solaparme con el fondo xD) Así que al final me decidí por hacer una combinación extraña, como si fuera un alien tratando de vestirse de humano, pero sin saber muy bien cómo. Y con un toque futurista, de modo que acabó pareciendo una inspiración en Ulala xD Cosa que está bien porque también es algo espacial xD
I thought a lot about the outfit, because I knew I wanted to use some
space leggings I have, but it's hard to make a coord with it, with the
rest of my wardrobe, if we're not counting dark clothing, because the
background was going to be dark already and I didn't want to fuse with
it xD So, I finally decided for a weird outfit, like if I was an alien
trying to look human, but not understanding how it works, really. And
with a futuristic look. So, it ended up looking like an Ulala
inspiration xD But that's fine, because it's also spacial xD
El top brillante es en realidad un retal de tela colocado con imperdibles 😅 La verdad es que la zona del hombro estuvo en mala posición durante la mayor parte del baile, pero qué se le va a hacer. Y me pinté un tercer ojo con maquillaje, en la frente, para el closeup xD
The shiny top is a piece of leftover fabric tied with safety pins 😅 To be honest, the shoulders' piece wasn't staying in place for most of the dance, but, whatever... And I painted a third eye on my forehead with makeup, for the closeup xD
Para el fondo, como dije, puse las cortinas azules, para simular el cosmos, puse lucecitas y también planetas y cosas así, de cartulina. Ah, que olvidé hablar del peinado! Ese tipo de coletas están inspiradas en Emma de las Spice Girls. Solía llevarlas así en el colegio, porque era muy fan del grupo, aunque no entendía nada de la letra xD Entonces, una chica que se puso celosa por cualquier tontería, comenzó a llamarme Marciana, porque según ella, las coletas eran antenas, y a empujarme cada vez que se cruzaba conmigo. De modo que, si tenía que hacer algo relativo a extraterrestres, TENÍA que usar este peinado EXACTO.
For the background, like I said, I put the blue curtains to make it look like cosmos, and I put lights and planets and stuff made out of cardboard. And I forgot about the hairstyle! For my hair I picked the one I wore during a lot of years at school,
inspired in Spice Girls' Emma (I really liked the Spice Girls, though I
didn't understand any of the lyrics xDDD) And, well, there was this
jelly girl that pushed me, hit me and called me an alien because of that
hairstyle; she said it looked like antennas. So, well xD I HAD to wear that one.
Bueno, pues resulta que a partir de estas fechas, ya empezaba a apretar más el calor, de modo que no podía permitirme grabar muchos intentos porque el maquillaje se derretía con el sudor (cosa que ocurrió). Y, no estaba del todo contenta, porque se me enredó el pelo en los brazos, así que no pude hacer del todo bien algunas cosas, pero ahora mismo, fuera de la sensación de frustración del momento, siento que me salió muy bien! De hecho hay algunos gestos que siento que no me hubieran podido salir si no hubiera sido por el ejercicio muscular que estuve haciendo hasta que empezó a hacer calor. El baile parece simple, pero requiere de preparación! También tuve más problemas, y es que tuve una caries que se infectó, así que no podía comer ni descansar bien, y por supuesto, tampoco saltar ni nada del estilo, así que tuve muy poco tiempo para preparar este baile. Considerando todo eso, creo que puedo sentirme orgullosa de cómo me salió 😳
So, since then, the weather went from OK to "frying in a pan" hot, so, I couldn't record a lot of times until I was ok witht the take. The makeup was melting, so I had to leave the recording with a take I wasn't completely happy about, because my hair got tangled around my arms and I couldn't do well some steps because of it. But now, looking far from the frustration of that moment, I think I did pretty well!! In fact, there are some steps I'm proud of, because even if the dance looks simple, you can't do it right without some muscular preparation. I know I wouldn't have been able to do them like this before my training! I also had more problems; I had a horrible tooth ache that didn't let me eat or rest nicely, and of course, I couldn't jump or dance. So, because of that and going to the dentist, I had little time to prepare for this dance. Taking all of that into account, I think I did pretty well, and that I can let me feel proud of the result! 😳

Esta vez vamos a hablar de LOVE&JOY, una canción de Yuki Kimura; aunque probablemente se le conoce más por el baile, cuya versión inicial hizo (se supone)Misao Ichikawa para Cheer Dragons (aunque no era exclusiva de una canción sólo) y cuya versión, hecha por Okamaid en 2008, fue la que se dio a conocer masivamente gracias a un MMD. Es un baile que incluso si no estás muy metido en tema baile, lo has oído/visto, y que si estás metido, seguro que es de los primeros que conociste xD
Hell-Oh!! This time we're talking about LOVE&JOY, a song by Yuki Kimura; although it's probably better known for its dance, which first version was (allegedly) done by Misao Ichikawa, for CheerDragons (though it wasn't specific for this dance only) and versioned by Okamaid in 2008. That version of the choreo was the one to get viral thanks to a MMD. This dance is one you know for sure, even if you're not so much into dances, and it probably is one of the first ones you heard about xD
La verdad es que, aunque es un baile muy completo, el haber pasado por tanto odorite, ha hecho que el baile se refine un poco (a través del efecto teléfono roto), ya que, en lo personal, algunos pasos eran un poco bruscos o la transición entre algunos pasos era algo brusca. A modo experimento social, creo que es un buen resultado xDD
It's a very good dance, though, after going through so many odorite, it got more polished. In my opinion, there were some steps that were a bit sharp and some of the transitions were a bit abrupt as well. I mean, it's good and it can be also part of this odorite's style, but I prefer its refined version.

Bueno, la verdad es que me parecía una canción animada y sabía que algún día acabaría haciéndola, pero por otro lado nunca me ponía a ello, porque tiendo a aburrirme cuando un baile se repite tanto, y me cansaba sólo de ver tanto salto xD Pero llegó la ocasión perfecta; fue la elegida para ser la colab del día final de la OdoCountdown de mayo. Al final fuimos 45 personas, no me puedo ni imaginar el currazo que se metió CrystalNeko para editarlo todo!
Well, so the song's very lively and I knew I would end up doing it someday, but I never got to it. It kinda looked like the kind of choreo that makes me bored because it's so repeating, and because I lose focus, I start to make mistakes and that's sooo frustrating... Also, it looked tiring xD But, the time came. It was chosen for the last day of May's OdoCountdown, the big collab. In the end, we were 45 people, I can't even imagine how much work it was for CrystalNeko to edit it all!!!

Bueno, pues, para grabar este baile, y ya que iba a estar en una colab, decidí dejar el fondo sólo con la cortina blanca. Quería que tuviera mucha luz, porque la ropa era oscura. Elegí ese vestido porque es muy cómodo y fresco para bailar cosas así :3
Since this was for a collab, I decided to keep the background simple. With the white curtains, since the dress was dark, and I wanted it to be bright. I chose thisdress because it's comfy and fresh to dance this kind of dances :3
La verdad es que no me costó mucho de aprender, y aunque cansaba, me divertí mucho bailándola! It was quite easy to learn, and despite being tiring, I had a lot of fun dancing it! The downside was it was easy to make mistakes at the end 😅 It doesn't look like it, but I was counting the steps to avoid making a mistake, because the song was so tiring I wouldn't have had enought energy to dance it properly again 😅 And the weather wasn't that hot, yet...

La verdad es que me pidieron este baile en algún momento de 2018 (antes del verano, eso seguro), pero se me hizo un poco cuesta arriba con el tema del trabajo, y no logré encontrar tiempo hasta este año xD La verdad es que me alegro un poco, porque creo que me ha salido mejor de lo que me hubiera salido entonces. (El trabajo muscular y tal) No díría que ha sido tan fácil como los anteriores bailes, pero sí mucho más fácil que cuando lo intenté en 2018, así que no puedo ser objetiva del todo.
I was asked to dance this around2018 (before summer, at least), but then I started working and I got very stressed, and I couldn't find time for it until now xD I'm a bit happy, because I think I did better now, than what I would've done then. (Muscle excercise and stuff) I wouldn't say it was super easy, but I felt it easier than in 2018, so, I can't be objective.
El conjunto lo tenía planeado desde 2018 xD Quise darle un estilo como de personaque va atrabajar, no necesariamente de escolar, porque quería usarlo de vídeo celebración por el trabajo nuevo xD Cosa que no hice entonces porque me estresé xD Pero, igualmente, ese look se asentó en mi idea de esta canción, así que lo hice así de todos modos.
I had this outfit planned since 2018 xD I wanted to give it a working look to it, instead of school. I wanted to use it as a celebration for getting the job (but that video never happened because I got stressed xD) Now, that work ended, but this look grew into my idea for the video, so I used it anyway.
Desde 2018, tenía muchas ideas de cómo quería grabar este baile. Quería hacer tomas en varios lugares, hacer algunas escenas como de MV... Pero con cómo estaba el mundo, fue imposible, porque requería grabar fuera y que alguien me echase una mano. Así que pasé de ahí a no querer hacer nada complejo, y por eso dejé el fondo sólo con la cortina blanca, y sólo tomé la pantalla completa. De ahí edité closeups y zooms varios, según quise. Ya sé que me quejé de que así quedaba borroso, pero no me dio tiempo a reflexionar sobre ello, estuve grabando los bailes con pocos días de diferencia. Y lo hecho, hecho está.
Since 2018, I had a lot of ideas for the recording. I wanted to record in a lot of places, some scenes like in a MV... But, the way the world is, that was not possible. I needed to dance outside for that, and have someone help me, and that wasn't happening. So, I went to the opposite, and I kept it as simple as possible. I left the background with just the white curtains and I only recorded the long shot take. I edited closeups and zooms with it, like I wanted. I know I complained about this making the closeups look blurry, but, I recorded all those videos in a row, I didn't have time to reflect on it. So, what it's done, it's done.
