COSPLAY: Hakurei Reimu ☯ 博麗 霊夢 「Touhou Project ☯ 東方Project」

Hell-Oh!!! Como dice el título, esta vez os traigo el cosplay de Hakurei Reimu, de Touhou Project!

Hell-Oh!!! As you can see in the title, this time we're talking about Touhou Project's Hakurei Reimu cosplay!

Bueno, a estas alturas no creo que haga falta que os explique que Reimu es una de las protagonistas de los juegos de Touhou Project, ni lo que es Touhou, pero... Bueno, lo único que diré es que aunque he jugado, soy muy muy mala en esos juegos xD Ya sabéis que por muy bien que me sepa los bailes siempre me pongo nerviosa y hago fallos porque sí. Pues con estos juegos tan frenéticos es mil veces peor xD Y no mejoro. xDDD

Well, at this time of the game *ba-dum-tsss* I don't think it's neccessary to say that Reimu's one of Touhou Project's main characters, neither what is Touhou, but... at least I'll say that: I played the games, but I suck at it. Like terrible xD You already know that, when dancing, I always get so nervous I got wrong the steps, no matter how well I learnt it. So, with these intense games I'm even worse. Like 1000 times worse. And I don't get better at it xDD

Bueno, pues este cosplay me lo pidió Tuxペンギン, un usuario de twitter. En parte, me sorprendió. A ver, me explico. Ya sabéis que tengo fijación por cierto tipo de personajes (y no me refiero a personajes concretos que repita mucho, sino a colores de pelo, carácter, tipo de ropa...), y los que no encajan en ese tipo, pueden parecerme bonitos pero no doy el paso de decir "me lo hago". Igual os habréis dado cuenta, pero tiendo a elegir colores más oscuros (azules, rojos, negros, grises) o pasteles, pero colores tan vibrantes (como los de Ranka) rara vez los elijo. Y es que Reimu va de rojo chillón xD Es un color que casi nunca uso. Y dije oye, pues por cambiar… Además, normalmente cuando me piden cosplays, suelen ser personajes en bañador :( así que, por una vez que me piden algo decente...

So, this cosplay was requested by Twitter user Tuxペンギン. It surprised me a bit. I mean, you already know that I tend to cosplay certain characters (and I'm not referring to repeating character, but to hair colours, personality, clothing...), and the ones that aren't like that, I may think they're cute, but it doesn’t occur to me to think that I could cosplay them. I tend to pick dark colours (blue, red, black, grey) or pastel. I rarely pick bright colours (like Ranka Lee). Reimu's bright red xD It's a colour I rarely use. So, when I got it requested, I thought: Why not? Just for a change. And also... I think it's the first time I get requested a cosplay that's not wearing only bikinis :( I got requested something cute and decent for once...

Lo que sí he de aclarar es que Reimu tiene un montón de versiones. En todos los juegos tiene algún detalle diferente. En los primeros juegos, de hecho, era bastante distinta. Así que elegí el diseño que me pareció más limpio y práctico, con el pelo de la 1ª versión ^^ Lo puntualizo ahora para no tener que entrar en detalle en cada una de las piezas del cosplay.

The only thing I want to clear up about this costume is the version I made, because Reimu has differences in all games. In fact, she was very different in the first games. So, I picked the design that looked more polished and clean, with the 1st Reimu's hair ^^ I say this in advance, so I don't have to explain why I chose to make that way the pieces of the costume.

Como he dicho ya en mis redes sociales, hace "poco" me compré un maniquí. Y lo he estrenado con este cosplay. A mi me dijeron que el maniquí no era tan bueno y que no sólo no hacia falta sino que a veces era peor usarlo... Pero tras haberlo usado, la verdad es que no entiendo el por qué de ese consejo. El maniquí no tiene exactamente mis medidas, así que obviamente he tenido que medirme a mi, y hacer los ajustes sobre mí, para asegurarme de que me viene bien. Pero una vez tomadas las medidas, se puede ajustar bordes, comprobar piezas, cosas que han de quedar simétricas, de una forma mucho más sencilla, rápida y precisa que sobre uno mismo... Por no hablar de que reduces el probarte el cosplay a (por ej) unas 2 de las 10 veces que necesitabas anteriormente. Creo que el maniquí me ha ayudado muchísimo a ajustar mejor el largo de las piezas, a encajar el cuello (es del que más orgullosa estoy hasta la fecha) y todo ha quedado mucho más limpio y con mejor forma. El maniquí no soluciona que tengas que probártelo y ajustarlo para tí, pero es una herramienta super super útil. Si tenéis el dinero para ello, es una muy buena inversión. En mi caso, encontré uno a muy buen precio en el Tedi. Pero si en algún futuro si se me rompe o algo así, me compraré uno bueno sin dudarlo.

I already talked about it on my social media, but, anyway: Lately, I bought a mannequin. This is the first costume I sew using the mannequin. I was told that mannequins weren't good and that not only were them unneccessary, but that they even made things look worse… But, after using it, I really don't understand why I was told that advice or why did that person think that. The mannequin doesn't have my exact sizing, so obviously I measured myself, to be sure the cosplay fitted. I also needed to try the pieces on me sometimes, it's not a magical tool, but, for instance, I had to try it on like 2 times of the 10 I would've needed to, without the mannequin. It's a super useful tool, a game changing. Once you have the size, and adjustments on you, you can check shapes, edges, symmetry, and so on, on the mannequin, much more easier than on your own body, or laying the costume on a surface. It was super useful for checking the lenght of the pieces, fitting the neck (seriously, this is the neck I'm more proud above all I've done until now) and everything looks cleaner and better shaped. Really, super recommended. If you have the money, it's a good investment. I bought mine so unexpensive at Tedi's, but if it breaks in the future, I'll buy one of good quality without a doubt.

Bueno, en fin, al lío, que me enredo a hablar, y debería estar mostrándoos el proceso y esas cosas xD.

Paso de hacer el disclaimer de que podéis usar los materiales que os salgan de la nariz y hacer la versión que os de la gana, que a estas alturas ya, quien se ofende y comenta estupideces es que necesita hacérselo mirar.

Yo he utilizado: mi pelo, tela (roja, blanca, amarilla, 2 tipos de entretela, fieltro), cintas y puntillas de diferentes tipos (rojas y blancas), calcetines blancos, zapatos negros, un palo de madera fino, accesorios varios (cremallera, gomas, diadema, ganchos, coletas, abalorios, etc), pololos y petti.

Anyway, let's get to it. I should be talking about the proccess already xD

I really don't want to do a disclaimer. I think that, at this point, EVERYONE should understand as default that you can use the materials you want and the version you prefer, and if anyone gets offended, that person needs some help.

I used: my hair, fabric (red, yellow, white, 2 kinds of interlining, felt), ribbons and lace of different kinds (red and white), white socks, black shoes, a thin wooden stick, various accessories (zipper, rubber band, diadem, hair clip, beads, etc), bloomers and petti.

ACCESORIOS PELO

Vamos a empezar por la cabeza, por seguir alguna especie de orden(?) Están el lazo y los accesorios de los mechones. La tela roja es la misma que para el vestido, la puntilla blanca es la misma que la del cuello del vestido y la cinta fina blanca es del mismo tipo y tamaño que la roja del cuello.

Para el lazo, primero cosí la cinta en zigzag, le puse la puntilla y cosí la forma del lazo, tanto del cuerpo como las cintas colgantes. Luego al cuerpo del lazo le planché por dentro entretela de pegar gruesa, para que el lazo se mantuviera con forma. Se puede hacer con goma eva, pero para esto casi prefiero la entretela. Después, monté las piezas sobre una diadema, les puse los abalorios blancos en el zigzag y voliá lazo enorme.

Para los accesorios de los mechones, cosí 2 tubitos con puntilla, y luego les cosí con dos tipos de abalorios, unos en forma de tubo y el otro de bolita, el zigzag.

Y, ahora, el chanchullo curioso de cómo me lo pongo en la cabeza todo para que no se vaya de paseo (os dejaré al final del post también el vídeo del cosplay closet, cuando lo suba, que ahí lo muestro mejor).

1- separo los 2 mechones y con un par de gomitas elásticas de esas muy pequeñitas que no se resbalan, delimito por dónde irá el accesorio, porque dentro del accesorio pegué unos ganchos del pelo, y paso el gancho por dentro de la goma. Debería mantenerse en el sitio, pero si saltas mucho puede llegar a caerse; pero tiene fácil solución temporal, enganchando el gancho directamente al tubo(?)

2- separo una sección de pelo de la zona superior de la cabeza, y le pongo una coleta pequeña del color de mi pelo. Debe quedar bien tenso para que sujete bien todo.

3- paso una coleta roja de un lado a otro del pelo de la sección recogida en la coleta del punto anterior. Paso las puntas de la diadema a través de los 2 extremos de la coleta. Lo ajusto bien tras las orejas y engancho los 2 lados de la diadema con 2 ganchos fuertes. Si la zona colgante del lazo se mueve mucho, se puede enganchar un poco con estos ganchos.

4- Junto el resto del pelo y anudo cerca del final del pelo, y luego le pongo un lazo con una cinta como la roja de las mangas.

*Truco: Para pasar los mechones por los tubos de tela y la coleta roja por la zona de pelo, utilizo un accesorio de pelo que muestro en la foto. Es muy útil, sin eso, hubiera tenido que hacer los tubos con velcro y se hubiera estado enredando en mi pelo...

HAIR ACCESSORIES

Let's start by the head, just to follow some kind of order(?) There's the ribbon and the lock accessories. The red fabric is the same from the dress, the white lace and the thin white ribbon are the same from the neck's.

For the ribbon, I first sewed the thin zigzag, added the lace, and then sewed the ribbon shape. I ironed a piece of thick interlining inside the body of the ribbon, for the shape. It's easy doing it with foamie, too, but I preferred doing it this way. Finally, I put all the pieces together with a diadem, I sewed the white beads on the zigzag and voilá.

For the lock accessories, I sewed 2 tubes with lace and I sewed the zigzag with tube and ball beads.

And, now, how I managed to put all this on my head keeping it all in place... (I'll add at the end of the post the cosplay closet video of this, because I showed this and it's easier to understand)

1- I pick apart 2 pieces of my hair, for the locks. I attach there 2 little rubber bands that don't slide, on the place I want the red tubes to stay. Inside the red tubes I glued 2 bobby pins. I put those bobby pins through the rubber bands. It should stay in place nicely, but if you jump, it could fall off. But there's a simple solution: putting the tube with the bobby pin too.

2- I pick apart an upper section of my hair, and I gather it all on a tail of my hair colour. It has to be tight in order to keep everything in place later.

3- I put a red rubber band through the hair I just tied in the last step. I slide each side of the diadem through the 2 ends of the red rubber band. I adjust the diadem nicely behind my ears and I secure it with 2 strong bobby pins. If the hanging part of the ribbon moves too much, I attach it to these bobby pins.

4- I pick all my hair and tie it near the tips. I put a red ribbon like the one from the sleeves.

*Tip: To put the locks trough the red tubes and the red rubber band trough the hair section, I used a hair tool that's on the photo below. It's so useful. Without it, I would've done the red tubes open, closing them with velcro. And velcro would've stick to my hair ;-;

TOP

Seguimos! El top lo hice bastante ancho, porque quería podérmelo poner sin tener que poner cremalleras ni aperturas, así que le di forma al patrón para que no pareciera un saco xD Y el cuello, lo hice con tela blanca, cosiendo el zigzag rojo y la puntilla, antes de montar las 2 capas del cuello. En medio, puse enetretela de pegar, no tan gruesa como la que usé en el lazo. Por experiencias anteriores, si la tela con la que se hace el cuello es fina y se le cosen cintas o cosas así, se arruga mucho y/o pierde la forma fácilmente, así que recomiendo la entretela mucho. Y le cosí las bolitas rojas al zigzag.

El lazo amarillo lo hice con el mismo tipo de tela que el cuello, pero amarilla (obvio). Le cosí la puntilla, después cosí la forma del lazo. Cosí una tira a la camisa y monté el lazo ahí.

TOP

Next! I made the top with a lot of width, because I didn't want to use any kind of zipper or whatever to put on the piece. So I made it in a nice shape :3 so it didn't look square XD And the neck, I made it with white fabric, sewing the red zigzag and lace, before sewing the 2 layers together. In the middle, I ironed a piece of interlining (thinner that the one from the ribbon). From my experience, if the fabric you're using for the neck is thin and you're going to sew ribbons or anything on it, it makes wrinkles and stretches and loses the shape easily, so, I highly recommend using interlining. And I sewed the red beads on the zigzag.

The yellow tie is from the same fabric of the neck, but it's yellow (duhhh). I sewed the lace, then the tie shape. I sewed a strip on the top and I put all the tie pieces there.

MANGAS

Las mangas las hice con la misma tela que el cuello. Elegí esta forma de hacerlas un poco por comodidad, y por otro lado, estaba haciendo malabares para utilizar la tela que me quedaba. Cada manga es un rectángulo casi cerrado, excepto por la zona que atraviesa el brazo, con otro rectángulo más pequeño, de tela fruncida, para la parte superior del brazo. Para esta pieza utilicé una cinta roja semitransparente. Ese material se deshilacha fácilmente, así que tuve que atravesar la cinta por la manga, en lugar de coser pedacitos de pinta sobre la manga. Como iba justa de tiempo, eran muchos cortecitos y no soy muy fan de coser los bordes de los ojales, probé a pegar otra pieza de tela blanca con cinta de silicona, para que pegase las fibras de la tela y minimizase el deshilachado. Funcionó, y eso hice. También podía haber utilizado otro tipo de cinta. Pero yo quería usar esa.

SLEEVES

I made the sleeves with the same fabric of the neck. I chose this shape because it was convenient. I was using white fabric leftovers, and they were shaped weird. Each sleeve is a rectangle, almost closed, except for the part where arms go through, with other smaller rectangle of gathered fabric, for the upper part of the sleeve. I picked a semi transparent red ribbon for the sleeves. That material frays easily, so I had to put the ribbon through the sleeve's fabric, instead of sewing many little red pieces. Because I was running out of time, I'm not really a fan of sewing buttonholes and they were quite a lot... I glued 2 layers of white fabric with silicon bands (it's for sewing) in hopes that the glue would stick the fabric enough to keep it from fraying. And it worked, so I did that. I could've also used another red ribbon. But I wanted to use that one.

FALDA

Es bastante simple... Es un rectángulo de tela fruncido en la cinturilla xD A la cinturilla le puse entretela gruesa como la del lazo, para que mantuviera la forma con fuerza. La falda son algo más de 3 veces el tamaño de la cinturilla. La puntilla de la falda es de

otro tipo, porque tan grande no había del tipo otro que estaba usando. Y las tiras blancas decidí hacerlas con puntilla. Estas sí están cosidas pieza a pieza, y a mano, porque se fruncía al coserlo a máquina. La cremallera puse una externa, con bordes bonitos :3

SKIRT

The skirt's simple... It's a huge rectangle of red fabric, gathered on the waistband xD I put stiff interlining inside the waistband, so it could hold the shape. The skirt is above 3 times the waistband's lenght. The lace of the skirt is different, it nedded to be longer than the other one. And the white strips, I made it with other kind of lace. These ones I made it in pieces, sewing them by hand, because the sewing machine was wrinkling them. And, for the zipper, I put an external one that has cute motifs :3

POLOLOS Y PETTI

Tanto porque pensaba bailar, como porque sé que la mayoría de los personajes de Touhou usan pololos, usé los pololos para debajo de la falda, y el petti, para darle más volumen :3 Pensaba que le había sacado una foto a los pololos, pero se ve que no(?) Así que conformaos con la del petti. Son los pololos blancos que uso para cosplay.

BLOOMERS AND PETTI

Many Touhou characters use bloomers, so it was a must. Also, I knew they were going to be showed in the dance. I think that looks more cute than regular security pants, and gives more volume, so I picked that :3 I also used a petti, for more volume. I thought I took a photo of the bloomers, but it seems like not(?) so, whatever. It's the one I always use for cosplay.

CALCETINES Y ZAPATOS

Calcetines blancos normales y para zapatos elegí esos porque es lo que tengo. También tengo unos escolares, negros, pero tienen un poco de tacón y no están tan atados al pie, así que estos era mucho más cómodos para bailar, sobretodo un baile con tanto saltito como el que elegí.

SOCKS AND SHOES

White regular socks and I chose those shoes because that's what I have. I also have some school shoes, but they're black (should be brown), have heels and aren't tied like these, so it's not very comfortable for dancing a song with lots of jumps.

VARA DE MIKO

Y, para terminar, la vara de miko. Es uno de los palos que me sobró de los que compré para hacer una de las varas de Ranko. Anteriormente, hice este tipo de cuelgues con papel, y resulta que se rompe fácil, sobretodo si lo coge otra persona y no tiene mucho cuidado. Así que decidí hacerlo con fieltro blanco.

MIKO'S WAND

And, last of all, miko's wand. It's one of the sticks I got left from one of Ranko's wands. I already made something similar, but I did it with paper, and, you know what? It can break very easy, even more if someone uses your prop without care. So I made it with white felt this time.

DANCE: Amaterasu 「The iDOLM@STER」 を踊ってみた 🌸 Iori cosplay

Hell-Oh! En este post os voy a contar cosillas sobre el baile de esta semana :3

Hell-Oh! In this blog post I’m telling you some things about this week’s video :3




Es Amaterasu (The iDOLM@STER). Debo decir que desde Platinum Stars y Stella Stage no me gustan tanto los bailes, canciones y trajes que hacen para idomaster, pero esta canción y su traje (Tsukiyomi Dance Flower Kimono 月読華舞和装) me encantaron, y desde que lo anunciaron quería hacerlos ♥

It’s Amaterasu (The iDOLM@STER). I have to admit that, since Platinum Stars and Stella Stage, I don’t like the dances, songs and outfits as much as I liked it in previous games, but I really loved this song and its outfit (Tsukiyomi Dance Flower Kimono 月読華舞和装) and I just had to do it ♥




Ahora hace bastante calor, y donde grabo da el sol todo el día, así que grabé temprano (y aún así hacía calor) y dejé abiertas las ventanas para que corriera el poco aire que hacía. Por eso veis que el escenario está diferente a como de costumbre xD

The weather’s so hot now, and the room where I record the videos gets sunheat ALL the DAY so, I recorded the video very early (and it was already so hot) and I left the windows open, hoping to get some breeze. That’s why the “stage” it’s different as usual xD




La mayor parte del baile tenía efectos de confeti pero no quise poner confeti tanto tiempo en mi vídeo, así que sólo lo puse al final, y un par de acentos aquí y allá ^^ No quise hacer tomas, porque hacía calor y este baile tiene muchos saltos, así que me conformé con una toma única y ya. Por suerte me salió a la 1’5 x’D

Most part of the dance had confetti effects, but I didn’t want to put that effect through almost all the video, so I just put it at the end, and a pair of accents here and there ^^ I didn’t want to shoots in different angles, because the weather’s hot and this dance has a lot of jumps. Lucky me, I got it right at the 2nd attemp x’D

COSPLAY CLOSET – Episodios 7, 8 & 9 [Ranka Lee, Variety Animal Iori Minase & Mackenzie]

Hell-Oh!! Como bien nos indica el título, hoy os traigo un recopilatorio de episodios de Cosplay Closet. El primero es Ranka Lee en versión Seikan Hikou. Lo hice en 2011, el tiempo vuela!

Hell-Oh!! As the title reads, this weeks video is a Cosplay Closet summary. The first one is Ranka Lee in Seikan Hikou ver. I made it in 2011, time really flies!

El 2º, es el Variety Animal de Iori Minase (The iDOLM@STER). Lo hice para pascua de 2018, aunque llevaba queriendo hacerlo mucho tiempo :3

The 2nd one is Minase Iori’s Variety Animal, from The iDOLM@STER. I made it for 2018’ Easter, and I wanted to do it for a long time :3

Y el 3er vídeo es Mackenzie del Touch Detective. Lo primero es que debo decir que grabé esto más o menos a finales de febrero, así que no os asustéis por la manga larga xD Lo grabé el mismo día que el cosplay closet del Variety Animal de Iori. Con esto quiero decir que estaba intentando aprovechar más el tiempo libre que tenía, porque con el horario de invierno, el estrés y las horas excesivas delante del ordenador, al llegar a casa me costaba más ser productiva (o literalmente tener ganas de hacer nada). Pero que no pude más, necesitaba descansar. Apenas he encendido el ordenador desde entonces, porque no quería saber nada de pantallas, ni de fijar la vista editando... En fin, lo que sea, que por fin he editado el vídeo y, aunque tenía también grabado el de Reimu, mi toc

personal me hace querer seguir el orden numérico de los vídeos, así que publiqué este primero xD

And the 3rd video is Mackenzie from Touch Detective. First of all, I need to say that I recorded this around the end of February, the same day I recorded Iori's Variety Animal CosplayCloset, so, don’t worry about the long sleeves xD At that time, I was trying to make videos in advance, because I was having troubles tryinng to keep the rythm. The winter schedule at work, stress and too much hours staring at the computer were too much, and made me not want to do like anything. Especially not staring at the computer. But, in the end, I couldn't take it anymore, I needed some rest. I barely turned on the computer these months. Anyway, I finally edited the video and, I also recorded Reimu's cosplay closet, but I wanted to upload this one first because I can't stand breaking the numerical order of publication. So, here's this one, first xD

DANCE: too Cute！ ☯ with Hakurei Reimu cosplay 「from Touhou Project」 を踊ってみた

Hell-Oh!! Sigo viva!!! xD Aunque ya casi no recuerdo ni cómo empezar a escribir un blog(?) De verdad... :_D Bueno, pues estuve muy ocupada en el trabajo, con mucho estrés, mucha gente, mucha pantalla de ordenador... Así que al llegar a casa no tenía ganas de mirar el ordenador, y con algo de suerte no me quedaba dormida... Así que, bueno, básicamente necesitaba descansar más que otra cosa... Ahora ya el ritmo es más llevable, así que empiezo a estar algo mejor ^^

Hell-Oh!! I'm still alive!! xD But I barely remember how to start writing a blog(?) Seriously... :_D Well, I've been so busy with my job, a lot of stress, people and staring at the computer... So, when I was at home, I didn't feel like staring at the computer anymore, and I was sleepy all the time... So, basically, I needed rest, more than anything else... Now things aren't as crazy at my job, so I'm feeling better ^^

En fin! Como veis en el título, he bailado Too Cute! con el cosplay de Hakurei Reimu, de Touhou Project. Este baile no es de Touhou, pero es el que estaba empezando a aprenderme cuando empezó todo el estrés (que realmente comenzó en enero, pero tenía vídeos adelantados) y, bueno, pensé que pese a no ser de lo mismo, quedaba bien y así puedo dejar de sentirme culpable por no haberlo podido hacer para marzo u.u

Well!! As you can see in the title, I danced Too Cute! with Touhou Project's Hakurei Reimu cosplay. This dance has nothing to do with Touhou, but it was the one I was starting to learn when all the stress started (to be honest, it started in January, but I had some videos prepared until March) and, well, I thought it looked nice for this costume, anyway. And I could also stop feeling guilty for not being able to dance it in March u.u

Es un baile que me gusta desde hace mucho tiempo, y tenía como una mezcla de "quiero hacerlo" con "pero seré capaz??" así que era como que lo miraba un poco de lado(?) No sé si me explico xD La cosa es que es un baile muy activo, cansa mucho sobretodo ahora que hace más calor, aunque por suerte tiene algunos puntos donde se puede descansar un poco. También es algo complicado porque tiene gestos muy naturales, no es muy repetitivo pero lo que repite lo hace sólo a trozos y entremezclando cosas nuevas, o con pasos parecidos (excepto el estribillo, que obviamente se repite entero), pero, vamos, que fue un poco complicado conseguir aprendérmelo de modo que no me pasase lo de siempre (que me quedo en blanco o me confundo al hacer partes muy parecidas sin querer) y para que los pasos quedasen naturales y no diesen sensación de que sólo repito pasos y no los entiendo…

En realidad, casi me equivoco en un paso, pero conseguí rectificar a mitad y arreglarlo sin liarla por los nervios como siempre... x_D Y hay ciertos pasos que no me quedaron del todo igual porque bailé con la vara de miko, pero no me molestó tanto como podría haberlo hecho. 

Lo aprendí de Miko. El vídeo original no fui capaz de encontrarlo de buena calidad, estaba muy pixelado y no se veían bien los gestos. A parte, al ser pasos tan naturales y propios de esa persona, eran todavía más orgánicos y difíciles de ver. En casos como este, prefiero aprender de alguien que lo ha aprendido, porque quedan movimientos más limpios x_D

It's a dance I like since a long time, and I kinda wanted to dance it, but, at the same time I didn't feel like I'd be able to do it... You see, this dance is very active, it's tiring especially now that weather's hot. Thankfully, there are some steps that let you rest a bit. It's a bit complicated because, except from the chorus, there aren't repeated steps in the dance AND there are lots of similar steps, mixed differently, which makes it more difficult to learn… Also, many of the steps look random, which only adds difficulty to the memorization, not making mistakes on similar parts like I always do, and it's also harder to make the steps look natural. Not like you're just repeating things you don't even understand…

In fact, there's one step that I almost got wrong, but somehow I fixed it without panicking like always... x_D Also, there are some steps that I made different because of the miko wand. Though, it wasn't as annoying as it could've been.

I learnt it from Miko. I couldn't find the original in good quality. It was pixelated and I couldn't see the hands gestures properly. And, being her own choreo, the moves were more organic and natural, so it was more difficult to learn from. At times like this, I prefer learning from other sources x_D

En marzo, estuve barajando un conjunto para este baile. En ese momento el tiempo estaba un poco loco, había días de mucho frío y otros de mucho calor, así que andaba como loca no sabiendo si pasaría frío o calor con él :_D Para ahora daba ya calor, así que no quise usar ese... Y estaba a punto de empezar el cosplay de Reimu, así que pensé que porqué no. Creo que le queda bien. Próximamente haré post acerca del cosplay, y ahí daré más datos, proceso, etc. Por ahora simplemente diré que fue una petición de cosplay de un usuario de twitter, y pensé que estaría bien, ya que no uso el rojo casi nunca en mi ropa o cosplay. También es el primero que hago teniendo el maniquí, que ha sido de gran ayuda para no tenérmelo que probar tantas veces y ajustar el largo de las piezas. Estoy muy contenta con el maniquí, ya os contaré :3

In March, I was thinking about the outfit for this dance. At that time, the weather was crazy. 2 days were super hot, next 2 where freezing, and so on. So I was worried about the outfit not being good for the weather that happened to be the day of the recording :_D Now it's too hot for that outfit. And I was starting to sew Reimu's costume, so I thought Why not? I think it looks nice with the song. I hope I'll be doing a cosplay post for Reimu, soon. There I'll talk about the process, etc. Now, I'll just say that it was a request from a twitter user, and I thought it was nice, because I rarely use red on my daily basis and cosplay. It's also the first cosplay I sew using the mannequin, and it's been so helpful!! I'm so happy with it :3

No tenía muy claro donde grabarlo, porque es una canción muy alegre, muy de buen clima y colores brillantes. No quería hacerla dentro de casa con poca luz! Y sin cosplay podía grabarlo en casi cualquier sitio, porque aunque me da vergüenza que se me queden mirando fijamente o me señalen mientras bailo, no es tan llamativo como si llevas cosplay. Por eso prefiero no grabar con cosplay fuera de casa o que me acompañe más gente. Además, necesitas tranquilidad para cambiarte, vas más cargado y dejas las mochilas sin mucha vigilancia. Pero se me antojó bailar con el cosplay de Reimu, y esto añadió el problema de que quería un sitio que quedase más bonito para el cosplay y que fuera tranquilo, a la vez. Y pues yo no recordaba o conocía este parque, pero Breakman se acordó y me lo dijo. Y la verdad es que el sitio es muy bonito. Le falta un poco de mantenimiento en algunas cosas, y sería todavía más bonito, pero mira, no se puede tener cosas chulas aquí. O las rompen/pintarrajean o las dejan perderse. En fin.

Que quedó bonito, fue tranquilo y se estaba bien a la sombra :3 Hacía aire a ratos, pero por suerte no me molestó tanto.

I wasn't sure where to record this song, because it's a happy song, it makes me think of good weather and bright colours. I didn't want to record it at home! Without cosplay I could record it almost anywhere, because even if I feel uncomfortable when people stare or point at me while dancing, it's not as striking if Im wearing regular clothes. That's why I prefer dancing with regular clothes outside instead of cosplay, or asking more people to be there with me. Also I need a place to change clothes, I carry more stuff with me and my bags are vulnerable while I'm recording. But I had the whim of dancing this with Reimu's cosplay, so that added problems. Because I wanted the park to be more beautiful, for the cosplay, and quiet at the same time. I didn't remember/knew about this park, but Breakman knew about it and showed it to me. The place's so nice, though some places need a bit of maintenance. But, anyway. Here, you can't have nice things. It either lacks maintenance or people breaks/writes on it. Whatever. It was nice, quiet and the plant's shadow was delightful :3

It was windy sometimes, but luckily, it didn't disturb me that much.

DANCE: 極楽浄土 🦋 Gokuraku Jodo 「GARNiDELiA」 を踊ってみた

Hell-Oh! POR FIN he podido traeros el Gokuraku Jodo… Llevo queriendo bailarlo desde que salió (que ya ha llovido, ya) y empecé a aprenderlo para noviembre pasado, pero se me liaron las cosas y tuve que dejarlo en pausa, pero ahora, por fin!

Hell-Oh! FINALLY! Here’s Gokuraku Jodo dance cover! I’ve been wanting to dance it since it came out (long ago…) and I started to learn it for last November, but I got busy and I couldn’t continue. But, now’s here!




El verano pasado me compré un kimono con toda la intención de usarlo para este baile. El tema es que es un kimono de buena calidad y no quería estropearlo sudándolo o manchándolo :S, así que no lo utilicé para practicar, cosa que me gusta hacer y debería haber hecho, para acostumbrarme a cosas de la ropa, en este caso las mangas. Porque las mangas me golpeaban la cara -_- y eso me desconcentraba un montón. Por ello, he acabado modificando o no haciendo completamente algunos gestos de los brazos, pero creo que habría quedado mejor si hubiera podido practicar más con el kimono… pero es del tipo de bailes que me cuesta, y ya lo considero un logro actualmente, así que está bien por el momento ^^U… Igualmente, me gustaría volverlo a grabar algún día, porque sé que saldrá mejor cuando mejore bailando, pero esa vez siendo 3 ^^ A ver si alguien se apunta!

Last summer I bought a kimono, thinking about this song. The thing is, this is a good quality kimono and I don’t want to ruin it with sweat or stains, so I didn’t practice the dance with it. And I like to practice with the clothes I’m going to record it, because some steps can’t be done the same way with all clothing. This time, being the sleeves something to have in mind :S The sleeves were slapping me at every arm-step and it was frustrating, it deconcentrated me a lot -_- So, I ended up changing a bit some of the arm steps or not doing them completely… but I think it would look much better if I were able to practice with the kimono -_- It’s a kind of dance that it’s difficult for me, and it’s already an achievement, so it’s ok by now… Anyway, I want to record it again in the future, I know it’ll look better when I improve, and I’d like to dance with 2+ people ^^




Decidí combinar el kimono con un cinturón ancho negro (emulando el de Maria), una puntilla negra en la parte baja del cinturón, una camisa negra (no quería sudar el kimono), dos petti para que no perdiera volumen la falda, las medias y zapatos negros, y en rojo, unas telas cubriendo los petti y de cuello interior. Para el lazo puse dos cintas, una roja y una morada :3

I combined the purple kimono with black and red. Black: shoes, tights, huge belt, lace under the belt and a shirt (I didn’t want to sweat the kimono). Red: fabric covering the 2 petticoats I used to have more volume and the inner neck . For the hair bow, I used a red and a purple ribbons :3




Por el black friday aproveché las ofertas y compré las cortinas de entramado y las bolas de papel/lámpara chinas :3 Son para este baile y para otros que ya veréis en un futuro (espero que próximo xD) ^^ No puedo poner muchas cosas en el lado izquierdo (el mío) porque el techo está inclinado, y en ese lado está más alto… ^^U

I bought the new curtains and the chinese paper ball lights on black friday :3 For this dance and others :3 You’ll see soon (I hope) xDD I can’t put many things on the left side because the ceiling’s inclined and it’s higher there ^^U

Y bueno, he tenido que usar el sonido de la grabación (y ponerle un poco voz de pitufo) porque si no, el video se bloquea en algunos países, y quiero que todo el mundo sea capaz de verlo u.u De todos modos, se escucha bastante bien, creo. Espero que lo entendáis ^^U Ya pasó con el Tougen Renka y no sé… debería editarlo y restablecerle el audio de grabado, como con este? O ya de paso debería grabarlo de nuevo…? En realidad, es una pena lo del copyright, con lo chulas que están las canciones de GARNiDELIA y las coreografías de Miume...

And, well, I had to use the recording’s audio (and make the pitch higher) because it gets blocked in some countries, otherwise u.u And I want you all to be able to watch it u.u Anyway, I think it sounds nice. I hope you understand ^^U It already happened with Tougen Renka and I don’t know… should I upload it again, with the recording audio, too? Should I record it again…? It’s a pity, all this copyright thing, because GARNiDELIA’s songs are gorgeous, and Miume’s choreos are so cool...

DANCE: Valentine’s Day ♥ Natsu ni Sarishi Kimi wo Omofu ♥ 夏に去りし君を想フを踊ってみた

Hell-Oh! Esta semana ya es San Valentín de nuevo! El tiempo ha pasado muy rápido! El año pasado hice una batería de canciones temáticas durante un mes, más o menos, pero, obviamente, este año no me da la vida xD Así que he elegido este baile para esta semana :3

Hell-Oh! This week’s Valentine’s!! Valentine’s again!!! Time went so fast!! Last year I made Valentine-y dances for a month, more or less, but this year I can’t do that ^^U So, well, I chose this dance, this time :3




La canción es Natsu ni Sarishi Kimi wo Omofu, que viene a ser algo así como… Nos alejamos en verano, pero sigues en mis pensamientos (añade juego de palabras con cosas peluditas fluffy). Así que… es de amor, pero no es muy de color de rosa en realidad y también queda bien para verano, pero es que el ritmo de la canción, el tipo de música y las alpacas del video, me encanta!!!

The song is Natsu ni Sarishi Kimi wo Omofu, which means something like… Leave in Summer, Yet You're in My Fluffoughts. So, it IS about love, but it isn’t very sweet xD And it also looks good for summer. But I wanted to do it now, I love the song's rythm, the kind of music and the alpacas from the video!!

Este baile me fue muy fácil de aprender. Creo que estaba en un momento inspirado, además, me encanta el ritmo y hay muchos pasos repetidos. Eso sí, quema bastante, pero bueno x_D Aprendí la coreografía de Manako (aunque no es suya), realmente los cambios que le hizo me parecen más bailables que la original, es más fluida.

This dance was very easy to learn. I think I was inspired this time xD I also love the rythm and there’re a lot of repeated steps. It’s a bit tiring, though xD I learned it from Manako (though it’s not hers), I like how she changed it a bit. The steps look more soft and connected this way.




El sitio que he elegido es un parque que no es muy tranquilo, y hace poco que lo arreglaron de nuevo, porque lo habían dejado medio abandonado. Pero cuando supe que la fuente-cascada volvía a funcionar, me dije que tenía que grabar algo allí ;-; Eso sí, no podía oír casi nada por el ruido del agua, por eso el playback no se ve sincronizado. Tuve que esconderme el móvil por dentro de la ropa, cerca de mi cabeza, porque ni en el bolsillo podía oír nada… A parte, ya he dicho que no es un parque muy tranquilo, y yo tengo un don para que haya eventos random el día que yo voy a grabar, así que había una especie de evento para adolescentes, y me estaban interrumpiendo todo el rato. Esta toma es la única que conseguí sin nadie pasando por detrás, o conmigo equivocándome porque alguien se me quedó mirando parado y me puso nerviosa. Y no pude hacer más intentos porque un crío se metió bajo la cascada, mirándome con cara de “Pues ya no te dejo grabar más, ja ja” ._. Y una señora agarró a su hija para que no se colase por en medio, diciéndole “Deja a la youtuber” xDDD Claro que yo esto no lo pude oír. Me lo dijo Breakman después xD

The place I chose is a park that isn’t quiet. It was a bit battered but they fixed it recently. When I knew the waterfall fountain was working again… I really wanted to record something there ;-; Though, I could barely hear the music because it was very noisy ;-; That’s why the lip-sync isn’t accurate. I had to hid the phone near my head because I couldn’t hear it in the pockets… Also, did I say that park isn’t quiet? Well, I have a gift for random events happening in the places where&when I want to record, so it was even less quieter… People was going through all the time or staring at me, making me uncomfortable (and then making mistakes -_- ) And, finally, a kid stayed in the middle looking at me, with a devil’s smile, like saying “I won’t let you record anything else more now” ._. Also, a little girl was going through, but her mother stopped her, while saying “Leave the youtuber alone” xDDDDD Though, I couldn’t hear that. Breakman told me afterwards xD So, well, this was the only take I was able to dance completely -_-




Me he inspirado en las alpacas, y he usado cosas con peludito en la ropa :3 Tenía cierta idea en mi cabeza para el conjunto, y le fui cambiando las cosas que no me acababan de convencer, y… ♥♥ Bueno, no sé, pero me ha encantado el resultado :3 ♥♥

I chose the outfit because of the alpacas :3 I used fluffy clothing :3 I had an idea, and then I changed/added some things and… ♥♥ well, I love the result :3 ♥♥
